What is the best substitute for milk?

What is the best substitute for milk? I don't want anything sweet, I just want something bland and as close to milk as possible to put in my cereal. I already tried "lactose free" milk, it doesn't work for me.

thickened water, nectar (honey consistency doesn't work as well)

I’d say you’re gross but I sometimes eat corn-based cereal with water and it’s okay. Slightly thickened and chilled water would be ideal, tbh

oat milk is the best alt milk for cereal, imo. get the unsweetened kind. cashew milk is good but it's probably too rich for what you're looking for

soy is closer nutritionally, taste-wise I think oat pairs well. If you're okay with something very processed, check with the refrigerated vegan milk section at your store and look for Silk Nextmilk (bad name) which tastes most similar to real milk.

Goyim slave cattle. Just eat Elmer's glue or cold wheatpaste, you stupid slaves.

How about you stop eating cereal like a fucking manchild? Eat real breakfast, and drink milk on its own like a man.

I don't have a problem with almond milk for cereal. Just get the unsweetened kind and it is very bland but still has the consistency of dairy.

Yogurt. Unpasteurized plain yogurt should contain bacteria and enzymes that help break down the lactose during digestion, and it's lower in lactose than fresh milk too. Kefir or buttermilk can work too as long as it's unpasteurized.

Whole milk is the unironically the healthiest milk. It has a low glycemic index and low glycemic load, and has an ideal amount of fat and protein per serving. The only real reason a healthy person should abstain from whole milk is if they are lactose intolerant.

Are you allergic to dairy protein then? Coconut milk could be okay, but it has to be the stuff near the dairy section. If you get it in a can it's going to be more like heavy cream and it's high in calories since it has a lot of fat, but it's not sweet.

bruv, I've been living on Almond Breeze for like 10 years. it's a fucking amazing milk substitute for things like cereal. The one thing I would recommend; get the refrigerated fresh shit rather than the ultra-pasteurized shelf stable stuff. It's a whole world better. For me this stuff is way better than dairy fluid. It's fresh and stays fresh, no stinky warm milk at the bottom of your bowl.
