      Perogies

There are no specific foods that are common to all Slavs. Serbs don't eat pierogi and Slovenes don't eat borscht. In a broad sense I'd say sausage and pickled cabbage stew.

Cool, I recognize that bottle. That is Bulgaria. I have been in a lot of slavic countries and the only thing they have in common is squating and alcohol abuse.

          Crepes are from everywhere 🙂
You can also have the tsarist era version out of buckwheat and yeast if you want """authentic""".

Crepes are French. The ones in the pic are just regular pancakes which are common everywhere in Europe.

    Borscht
It uses the mighty beet and sourcream, quintessential flavors. It's also pretty unique I think, stuff like Pierogis are just dumplings.

    Hol' up.
Is that multiple bulbs of raw garlic?
You're not even scrubbing it onto toast, just biting into the bulbs raw?
Last time I tried that, my stomach tried to assassinate me.

why are you acting like it's taboo? i thought it was normal to take bites of garlic along with bread and/or meat. try it with raw sweet onion if you are too much of a baby to eat raw garlic

It's just not common in the West, we eat garlic but we'll pickle it or bake it first. I do enjoy Toum though.

You got that from the Heroes III Facebook group, right? That page is great, people post stuff like pic related and doesn't even get deleted. The Slavs just laugh at it.
