dry peas. highest in fiber. they feel the most versatile because you can sub them in for beans or lentils

Black turtle beans. Are they good for you? I hope so because they're really tasty.

Do they have a lot of estrogen in them like chickpeas?

my beans are still going at it. decorative blooms and food. can't get more from a plant than that!
That aside, this is my first year growing them- do you have any tips for using them?

Same. I'm in 8A and they're going strong. I typically just throw them in a slow cooker with pork belly like any old bean. Seems to be a lot of Mexican recipes for them though. I'm on year 3 and they've crossbreed with a subspecies called Sunset Runner. My beans are black and pink generally. I did that on purpose as I feel like sunset runner grows better in my environment.

8B myself. When mine are fully grown, they turn out purple with black speckles. I might try crossbreeding with something, that sounds fun.
