Same. I'm in 8A and they're going strong. I typically just throw them in a slow cooker with pork belly like any old bean. Seems to be a lot of Mexican recipes for them though. I'm on year 3 and they've crossbreed with a subspecies called Sunset Runner. My beans are black and pink generally. I did that on purpose as I feel like sunset runner grows better in my environment.

Red lentils for me too. They make ok curry
dry peas. highest in fiber. they feel the most versatile because you can sub them in for beans or lentils
Lentils, probably, or chickpeas; they're quite versatile.
lentils because they are easy to cook and always delicious
None, I just cook what is locally grow. If anything, mushrooms are the best, albeit not a legume.

8B myself. When mine are fully grown, they turn out purple with black speckles. I might try crossbreeding with something, that sounds fun.
