Chicken. Sometimes black pepper. Sometimes salt.
Anything else is pretentious, superfluous and indicative of a lacking intellect and the mark of a small mind.

I just smother a chicken thigh or so in adobo blend seasoning and throw it in the oven for 40 minutes (45 if it's a big one) and dig in.

    soy chicken youtube @flo lum
    8 thighs
    1T dark soy sauce
    1T soy sauce
    1T oyster sauce
    1t sugar
    1t corn starch
    1T oil
and one thumb size hunk of ginger sliced

thats the marinade. but I added something else from another youtube
add 1t shaoxing to the marinade (30min- overnight)
and right before you pull off the chicken from your skillet, deglaze with a Tablespoon of the shaoxing wine. when I get to grilling soon, I guess I'll just brush or pour it on the meat and flip it a time or two

it's good with or without the wine

Sesame chicken skewers. Cut some chicken thighs or breasts, brine them with salt and vinegar and some sugar (or pickle juice), skewer them, lightly apply some hoisen sauce with spices and a small amount of sesame oil, maybe add some breadcrumbs for texture if I'm feeling it, cook, brush with a extremely small amount of sesame oil and top with sesame seeds.
Teriyaki sauce is a good too instead of hoisen. Sesame oil is very strong but mellows dramatically when cooked. Sesame seeds can be added before cooking or after. Can be grilled, fried, or even baked. Can add other stuff to the skewers like a grilling kabob.

Also I take shredded chicken, mix it with some creamy spicy curry sauce, wrap it with an eggroll wrapper and fry it like a rangoon.
Chicken is pretty cheap where I live so I eat way too much of it.

    Slow cooker BBQ chicken.

1 large pack of boneless skinless chicken breasts
    1 bottle of BBQ sauce
1 bottle of zesty Italian dressing.

Clean any fat and other scraps from breasts, put in slow cooker.
Add BBQ sauce to cover chicken
Add about 1/3 to 1/2 as much Italian dressing
Cook on high for about four hours. Start pulling the chicken apart with two forks after one hour.
keep pulling the and shredding the breasts every 45 minutes to and hour.
At end of cooking, draw some sauce out, thicken with corn starch to make a slurry and thicken pulled chicken with slurry.
    Makes great sandwiches.

Steel pan. Slice onions and place in pan. Season 3 chicken thighs with garlic power, salt and pepper and place over the onions skin side up. Stick in an oven and fuggedaboutit for 30 mins. Come back to heaven in a plate for very little effort.

I like using leftover shredded chicken to make BBQ sandwich. Just add your favorite BBQ sauce to the chicken and put on some buns or toasted white bread. Make some homemade coleslaw to go with it and possibly baked beans. Fricking delicious.

Also I have a recipe for chicken museum rice. Cook some chicken thighs (I like bone-in) in a pan. Once chicken is browned remove and set aside. Deglaze with a little white wine and add some mushrooms (I like white button) and onions. Slightly caramelized add rice and chicken broth. I put a little chicken seasoning with sage, marjoram, thyme, and onion powder. Add the chicken back on top of everything. Cover and let cook for 30-45 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon juice.
