This. I realized all I actually wanted was a carbonated drink and after that the switch to seltzer water was really easy. Now I have a soda once every few months and finish about half of it before pouring the rest out.

Nothing yet sadly. Everything else that has that carbonation is either sugary (sparkling juice) full of aspartame (and thus no different than what I'm currently drinking) taste like battery acid (unsweetened seltzers) or are alcoholic (no)

try an ice cold, unflavored topochico. i used to be addicted to cocacola until i realized i just liked the carbonation.

sparkling water. waterloo makes the entire soda industry obsolete and it's hilarious. all of those goysugar merchants should be out of a business. I get to have rich flavor and there are no artificial bullshit or sugar added like diet crap.

That, but then I just started making chilled green tea myself
    >heat some water in pot, roughly 1/6th of a gallon?
    >add 5 green tea bags
    >boil
    >steep for 15-20 minutes, pour in gallon pitcher
    >stir in one-third cup of monk fruit in the raw (monk fruit plus erythritol)
    >fill up pitcher with water
    >put in fridge

I compared 100 calories of this stuff to 100 calories of Coke here in the UK, and the former was slightly higher. Maybe Coke in the US has more sugar, I don't care enough to check.

This stuff. I'll still have a soda when I eat out (once a week or so) but this stuff manages to be sweet with a bit of tang that sates my cravings for soda and is only 40 kcal a serving. Which I don't even drink a full serving, just swig a mouthful from the jug at a time (I live alone, no one else to complain about me drinking from the jug).

It was really hard but overtime I realized the sugar wasn't worth it, now I only drink it if i'm actually sitting inside of a fast food joint which is rare. But I'll also say diet soda tastes like shit. The only diet soda I found tasty is root beer since you still get that root beer taste in it, whatever the hell that plant is called.
