marzipan's distinctive flavor comes from bitter almonds. peanut would be gross. just make peanut brittle if you want to candy them

or if i was feeling entrepreneurial i would fill ziploc bags with them and perhaps sell them at a nearby sporting events venue. i bet you could at least treble your money every box, and by the end of the season you might have enough money to either expand your business or invest in another venture.

the ones in his pic are already dried and salted in shell though. the boiled ones are fresh

if they weren't already dried i was going to say boiled. anywhere north of the mason-dixon line would be great to set up a boiled cajun peanut stand at a farmer's market, hipsters would probably love them especially if you also offered po boys or beignets or boudin or something.

i ordered some cans of boiled peanuts based on people like you, most disgusting thing I've ever encountered, it was like watery garbage in a can. It smelled and looked like they scooped up peanuts that had fallen out of a truck and been sitting in a pothole filled with runoff from a farm for a week.

This is usually $35. These are 100% going to be stale at that price. My grandfather had a peanut company and peanuts fresh of the line are insanely good. The quality drops per week from when they are cooked.

Become a serial peanut vigilante. 25lb for 10 bucks? I would dump peanuts throughout my town in neat piles periodically late at night with a small signature card at the bottom that says "that's nuts!". I would go to different parts over the weeks, months, and years. Eventually once I am confident in it, I would go for more and more prime spots with a larger and larger range. Eventually word would spread and it would become newsworthy at which point I'll expand further, perhaps eventually internationally. I would write letters to stations in advance of where I was going to go if the work ever got too stale. On my deathbed, to an unsuspecting and loving family, I would tell them that it was me all along and give them proof with the very first nut.

Someone keeps dumping seed corn on the busiest railroad crossing in town and I have no idea why they keep doing it. It's not huge amounts, maybe the amount a single paper bag from the grocery store would hold. They spread it out all over both sets of tracks and all four lanes of the road so it's not in big clumps that could hurt anything. Really weird.

Some guy in Germany on Culinaly has a crow that lives in his house and wakes him up in the mornings and two other crows that live in the trees outside. The indoor crow stole his glove.
He also documents the impending crow war between his crows and some invading crows from nearby as well as the local hawks and doves. Lemme link the thread and see if I can find the others in the archive.
