they are too long, sir. Women don't want sharp fingers, nor see dirt under nails; I suggest keeping a high quality file in your car, and just cleaning it up at traffic lights, a bit each day. Or keep them close to your computer or TV at home, and use it during loading or commercials.

Buffets are for poors and cheapskates (eg. the elderly) which is why it's a dying business model. Also people are getting fatter every year meaning customers have an increasing ability to literally eat away at the restaurant's margins.
Fast food prices have increased between by like 60-100% in the past 10 years and those franchises also serve slop. Imagine how shitty the profit margins of a buffet must be and how they can't raise prices comparably to menu items because it would alienate their only regular customers who are cheap as shit.

Idk man, the local Chinese buffet looks like they're in no risk of going out of business. As long as they keep their stuff clean and don't start relying on tips, they're just gonna keep printing money.

    >Now there's just Cici's I guess.

Yeah I'm pissed off about my local pizza huts canceling their buffets because of the corona virus.

At cici's pizza, one location closed due to the virus, and the other location stopped allowing customers to grab the pizza utensils, so the worker would grab the food and sauce for you instead.

Cici's food is good value for the cost if you take advantage of it in a smart way. But Pizza hut is still offering a large $12 all meats pizza on their site if you want to get your pizza fix.

There was a cici's near our high school late 90's in my hometown that my friends and I would go to once a week. It cost $2.99 for the buffet, so we would all take 3 bucks and a quarter (came out to $3.24 + tax) and get water cup as drink and just get sprite/water and stuff ourselves. Most of us were athletes so it was a great carb/calories bomb.

My local Godfather's was never buffet. I only went during high school, therefore I have no idea if it was run of the mill or actually good.

When going to Pizza Hut with my family, we'd order for the table, never the buffet choices. But I do remember and miss the nice salads at the SWEET TOMATOES. They had okay flatbreads and pizza to go with the soups and salads. My favorite things at brunch or at a rodizio are the multitude of prepared cold salad choices, from waldorf to caprese. It's refreshing. The closest thing now is Chicken Salad Chick.

Too much appetite variance these days. Set the price too low and the fat class will destroy your profit. Set the price too high and only the fattest of the fat class will see you as a good deal. Also youth sports are declining in participation, which eliminates the money maker of the coach bringing in a dozen or two pre-teens who can only eat a couple of slices. Same for organizations like Scouts.

There use to be a Pizza Hut that did all you can eat buffets in the next town over.

    >Be me, be 7 or 8
    >Go to small rural primary school
    >There's like 30 kids at the school, aged between 6-12
    >End of school year
    >School decides to take us to the next town over for a big fun last day of school
    >Spend first half of day at big Aquatic center
    >They book out the Pizza Hut as a private function so we have the place entirely to ourselves
    >Teachers let us eat as much as we want
    >Take us home
    >Almost every kid sleeps the entire bus ride home because we were all in food comas
    >Was best day of school ever

    >Next year
    >Science fair has come to next town over
    >School decides to take students there as a special science day/field trip
    >They book out Pizza Hut, again
    >Eat a shit load of pizza, again
    >Was second best day of school ever

Family also took me and my sisters there for the all you can eat buffet a couple of times.

Place closed down during covid and was later demolished and it's now just a vacant lot.

Cici's got murdered by the pandemic. It used to be $5 and it included flatbread, deep dish and stuffed crust and they could be very generous with the toppings, and had limited time specialty pizzas every other month. Nowadays it's $10 and the deep dish and stuffed crust are gone, you're lucky to get one whole mushroom or slice of bell pepper per pizza, they're always out of toppings, crushed pepper and parmesan, there's much less options on the counter, there hasn't been a new specialty in years and every location is always dirty.
