    Avocado

Outside the zoomer mind, the only problem with avocados is that sheer demand has led to a tolerance of unacceptable low quality levels. The fruit might have been more expensive 60 years ago but I don't remember the woody brown garbage. And yes I DID fight in the Civil War, but I won't say which side.

I feel that using that in coffee defeats the purpose.

It's disgusting that you would equate them. Personally I eat only Misato foods but am frankly intrigued by the existence of Ritsuko foods, which I demand you post now, lest I call shenanigans (and perhaps the police).

This is the exact meme that

      >buy collagen supplements because I don't know how amino acids work
      >learn how amino acids work
      >keep it anyway to dump in stews as thickener
      >because it was so expensive, don't want to "waste" it
      >despite the known risks of heavy metal poisoning from a complete scam industry
Ha ha, I sure got memed good! The skin on my corpse is gonna look so nice tho.

was talking about and you should never buy it simply because the company puts a fricking License Agreement under the lid, like they EXPECT to get sued.

      Qrd?

Collagen is made from skin and hair and other shit, but it does not get magically transported to your own skin and hair to make them better. Protein is made of amino acids, they dissolve and get digested and used for various things. Collagen is INCOMPLETE protein, missing some amino acids. You are better off eating COMPLETE protein which can be utilized for skin and hair PLUS other things. The "collagen supplement" industry was created simply to monetize the literal garbage from the slaughterhouse floor after all the real meat was processed. It is not necessarily "bad", humans have always eaten collagen-rich foods, but it IS bad to pay a premium for a literal trash "supplement" that is marketed because Karen doesn't understand science. Also, the animal skin and other trimmings (i.e. the garbage that not even hot dogs can be made from) have been found to accumulate heavy metals from soil contamination. THAT is the shit you are putting in your coffee for "better skin".

        good post

I think that's also why some foods like bone broth and pork rinds have a label saying "not a high protein food" despite the number of grams of protein on the back label. But I like bone broth, pork rinds, aspic, gelatin, other foods like this... there is not anything evil about incomplete protein foods, your body should make up the difference in other ways, like how rice & beans TOGETHER to provide all amino acids.... but it's the claims made by the SUPPLEMENT makers that are bullshit, and the Vital Proteins brand is scummy. The usual rule of thumb is "just eat real food". (SHIT I want some pork rinds now.)
