What's an animal you've never eaten that you'd like to try? For me, it's horses.

For me, it's horses. I just know their meat would be tasty somehow.

Ham would make sense as its meat and salt, but spam has other spices. I think you and your guide are moronic.

I have eaten a lot of horse. It's not bad. I'd compare it to beef but leaner.
We ate it because it was cheaper than beef. I have had many horse hamburgers and bowls of horse chili.

I've had whale once when I was a small child. I don't know if my dad cooked it wrong or what but we all hated it and eventually dug something else out of the freezer to have instead that night.
I'd like to try it again.
    It was pilot whale.

Horse is pretty good, I've had it mostly as sausages and once or twice as basashi (basically horse sashimi)

I've tried most non illegal exotic meats and game animals and there's a reason they aren't at the supermarket. Theyre all worse than beef, chicken, and pork. Turtle is the only decent one that isn't just a shitty variant of something else.

Used to eat a lot of alligator. It's like chicken crossed with a mild white fish. It's really good, especially when batter fried.

Alligator is so underrated, a place by me makes marinated alligator bites (basically alligator nuggets) and they are phenomenal.

      Floridian here,
Gator is pretty good, love having it in a po boy or dipping them in sauce after bring battered and fried. Frog is pretty meh flavor wise and annoying to pick out all the little bones. I've had oxtail only once at a kinda shitty Jamaican restuarant, the meat was tender but not as flavorful as beef

Horse is good but donkey is better. Its got more of a gamey note in the nicest way possible, also more tender.
As for an animal, i would want to try orca meat

i'll never understand people that complain about fishy taste and eat fish. stick to chicken or something instead.
