I don't drink often, so I underestimated how little it'd take to get me fricked up, don't worry. Hope you get better soon dude.

You must have been heavily fricked up then.
As to the question in the OP. When I was a kid I left the house with my parents for a drive somewhere. Came back hours later to a wretched stink of charred shit and sulfur. A pot that was boiling eggs was left on and when the water evaporated they cooked on the direct heat until they exploded, covering the kitche in their carbonized brimstone remains.

Never fricked in in that way but my mom has done this several times, she teaches sociology so for that "keep your fake baby egg alive" project she boils like 60 of them at a time, often times the water all boils away and they burn. My dad also filled the house with black smoke from roasting a chicken, we went to the library for 4 hours or so.

I put a marshmallow in the microwave on high for 5 minutes once to see what would happen.
Also, I made fish stock with a bunch of salmon heads, but neither was accidental.

When experimenting with flavors, I decided to add a splash of this bullshit to my dish.

The smell funked up the whole damn house, making me retch and open every window in the joint. I had to dispose of that all the way in the backyard garden. Try to imagine the smell of concentrated wet dog who was wallowing in fresh vomit.

Was it expired or something. I love that shit. But it's powerful, and you can only use a really small amount of it.

    >Making a cheese sauce
    >Using Gruyere and raclette
    >Get Gruyere prepped, move on to raclette
    >Had never had it before, was curious what it would be like
    >Break plastic seal, almost vomit on the spot, have to breath through my mouth
    >Try prepping it, just turns to mush no matter how I come at it
    >Decide to still roll with it, maybe the smell/ taste will mellow as it cooks
    >Cheese sauce fills house with a putrid, almost burning smell
    >Taste of sauce induces vomiting

I haven't had raclette since so I'm still not sure if I was working with expired cheese, or if it's just a shitty cheese

      >maybe the smell/ taste will mellow as it cooks
Somewhat related but I made a similar mistake of "maybe it just smells bad" when I decided to try limburger, it tasted exactly like it smells which is the smell of water collected in the bottom of a trash can.

Long time ago, I was experimenting with a̶l̶l̶ m̶a̶l̶e̶ g̶r̶o̶u̶p̶ s̶e̶x̶ Asian cooking and added about a cup (~235 socialist mls) of fish sauce to a stir fry. That was pretty terrible.
