What's your favorite frozen 'za?

I just ate a full Amy's 'za. One of the better one's out there.

I buy supermarket pizza dough and freeze it. Keeps for months.

Thaw it overnight, takes ten minutes to shape it and put toppings on it, 20 minutes to bake, and I've got pizza better than anything you could get in a box.

The refrigerated pizzas that you often find near the deli section in grocery stores/walmart are often pretty good, usually better than frozen pizzas at least

Yah, but they're too doughy. A pizza without crisp isn't a pizza at all.

I don't use a pizza pan when I cook them in the oven, straight on the rack and the crust doesn't turn out doughy, also I usually blast them with the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. doughy pizza is inedible

I tried the ones from Aldi the other day. Their thin crust was good but the regular crust was awful.

    BEHOLD THE SUPREME

The point of diminishing returns is so low on frozen pizza that I usually won't even buy them if they cost more than $3.50 for a 32oz motherfricker. I've had more expensive ones and literally none have been as good as the simple fricking Safeway own brand, not to mention that several, like Annie's and Newman's Own, have been considerably worse.

These were $10/5 pizzas at some point during the colder months. They were okay but still not as good as Safeway's.

I'd try that but have no safeway's around me so Tombstone from Dollar General is what I'm relagated to.

Safeway has a bunch of different labels across the US. In my area, we have both Safeway and Acme but they're called israeliteell, Osco, israeliteell-Osco, Albertsons and a few other things elsewhere in the country.
They keep giving me discounts for the pizza in my Just4U app (the store app where they customise prices to your specific purchase history) but it's been a while since it's gone below $4 pet pizza. I once got Newman's Own pizzas for 50¢ each through that app. Not 50¢ off. Each. That's how I know that NO sucked.
Same with Annie's ($1.50/pizza). They have me discounts for Home Run Inn last week, $2.50 each but they look horrible so I didn't bother getting any.

            >called israeliteell, Osco, israeliteell-Osco, Albertsons and a few other things elsewhere in the country
ACME, Haggen, Pavilions, Randalls, Safeway, Star Market, Tom Thumb, United Supermarkets, Vons, Albertsons, Amigos, Lucky, Market Street, israeliteel-Osco, Shaw's, Carrs, Kings Food Markets and Balducci's Food Lovers Market. There might be more than that. It's like DelHaize or however it's spelled. They've got a bunch of names, too. My area has Food Lion and Giant, but there's also Hannaford and some others. They used to have a discount chain called Bottom Dollar.

Probably. All I know is that my Just4U works at Safeway and Acme both and I bet it would work at the other stores Albertsons owns and they give me $1.35 off a gallon of milk. I haven't gotten milk anywhere else in years because of that discount.

The prosciutto comes separately and you put it on the pizza yourself so I assume they have to put "serving suggestion" on there because there's an element of user input.

Dr Oetker Ristorante pizzas are the only frozen pizzas I can tolerate.
They're thin enough that they dont become super doughy when cooked, like most other pizzas. The toppings aren't half bad either compared to your usual frozen 'za. Just a shame they're almost more expensive than a Dominos Pepperoni at least here in Aus

I don't buy large frozen pizza for a variety of reasons, price, quality, time to cook it, it's all not worth it to me when I can just buy a Hot N' Ready from little ceasers. The only frozen pizza I buy is Totinos or Celeste. I've tried store brand Celeste but the crust wasn't the same. I suggest adding your own toppings to Celeste and it's great. I have heard Rao's is likely the best large frozen pizza so I will try that someday.

Depends where you live, and I don't do delivery bullshit. In my area it costs $7 something and that's about the price of a large frozen pizza here. Cici's pizza is also good for your dollar if you wanna pig out.
