    Something I can eat without stuff falling off. I hate it when I have to scoop up leftovers with my fingers or when I end up spilling sauce on my clothes. Open sandwiches should be bite-sized aka toasts/appetizers/amuse-gueules. I don't demand anything more than that and I doubt anyone else does either.

              I made some croissants yesterday, so just planning on cutting them in half and using a couple of them. Not a fan of biscuits in general, prefer sourdough english muffins or croissants.

                To expand on this, I just buy the premade stuff, but I stretch it out and add stuff to it like salt, pepper, different seasonings, bacon crumbles, ground sausage, creams, cheeses, butter, etc. They're a great easy and quick vessel for flavor any time of day.

                But try swimming biscuits sometime, yeah, they're shortbread, but they hit differently
