Burn one of their curtains with one of their own candles and scream: "This one is for Pearl Harbour you filthy chinks! After that, order d12 and demand a discount because you're veteran.
>cucumber and jellyfish
I worked international banquets for nearly a decade and had to make and eat food ranging from spaghetti for children's hockey teams to royal families from asian and african countries. I even had to rehydrate some smoked, dried, and preserved fish one group brought from their country to serve with their rice. I haven't had the chance to try jellyfish. Grab some fucking jellyfish.
it's a weird soft squish until the actual bite which is very crunchy. Like a slimey al dente pasta that is very thick and the slime isn't a bad thing. not very flavorful on it's own from what I remember.
Realized how uncultured I am, I just wanted some egg rolls and orange chicken but that must be some americanized stuff
ill just take some fried chicken legs
>no applesauce
guess I'll take 4 marinated eggs as a side
Why would there be applesauce at a Chinese restaurant?
pork
>she doesn't know
Ain't that swell?
uh, based?
>scalded vegetable
I'm very curious. Never heard that term before in a cooking context
I’m guessing it’s boiling oil or some kind of boiling broth poured over raw vegetables.
probably means blanched
jellyfish with garlic sauce, haven't had that in a decade.
Gimme the pork chop.

Gotta try the pork chop at the pork chop house. I'd also wet my beak on the marinated ground pork sauce and the marinated tofu

Little shitty fish with chili paste/oil... not terrible but definitely not top 5 of the options.
One single fried chicken leg
Japanese seaweed.

Is this what they actually eat in Taiwan?
No, restaurant menus have very low nutritional value and don't taste good.
What is a Chinese style pickled cucumber?
English cucumber marinated in soy sauce, vinegar, chili pepper, garlic, sugar, and sesame oil. It's pretty darn easy and is a great side
Ok that sounds fucking delicious
