Where do you shop? I assume a lot of these answers are going to be fairly regional.
picrel, I live in STL and there's a bunch of these everywhere and I at least like them more than a Walmart or something.

do you have sibranium for sale?
t. Marvel villain character
i don't shop because i'm not a woman.
Imagine being dependant on others
quality uno reverse anon
So you just eat whatever the she buys? You have no control?
Pussy
that looks like the one in High Ridge. haven't been there in over a decade. had a LAN buddy that worked at Dierbergs.
I thought that was the one on page or olive
anyway, dierbergs is usually better
the only good thing about schnucks is their donut selection
I used to drop in after school, grab a couple egg rolls from the cafe thing and then go to the comic rack and chill for an hour or so a couple times a week.
I shop at one of their expansion stores in the middle of Misery. So glad I can get Boar's Head deli again.
I usually shop at Ruler and Aldi but still often go to schnucks too. Sometimes it depends on what I'm looking to get.
My shopping is usually done at either Meijer, Family Fare, or Walmart.
Meijer is fairly based. If you use the app it gives you some pretty good coupons too like it gave me 10% off everything once... (You just click the coupon on the app and then it applies whenever you put in your mperks.)
I buy from people who actually know something about the stuff they sell.
smelly hippy
You mean people who buy shit from Costco and resell it, passing it off as their own?
Find tomatoes that look like that at a Costco.
Why are there always like three morons still wearing a mask everywhere you go
They're in a cult bro. Covidians and Faucists
Ultra pozzed
people think you're a homosexual and I hope you know they are right
Also a STL anon. I fricking hate Schnucks, but they've got a strangle hold on the metro area. It's a privately owned chain beholden to unions that keep their members low skilled and dumb. If you're smelting iron, or digging coal, or constructing buildings, I hope you have a good union that protects you. If you push shopping carts or occasionally run a cash register between your cellphone and gossip breaks, you don't need a union.
I wish Kroger, and I hate Kroger, would just spend the money and drop one of their mainline brands into this city. Schnucks would die overnight.
There's several rulers which is owned by Kroger and there an actual Kroger in troy
Rulers is not a mainline chain. It's a discount chain Kroger throws into poor places where they can sell a limited selection of almost all house branded products. Go to a one of the good Kroger chains and you'll see the difference.
Frick Troy, I'm not gonna take a fricking day trip to shop with meth heads when I can walk to a Schnucks in the city and shop with crack heads.
I bet HyVee could do it. They're already as close as Columbia, and I really liked the one out there.
Move STL is rough come out here to the west coast we have good markets with organic ingredients your Midwestern ass would be shocked
>your Midwestern ass would be shocked
At the prices, the homeless population, the crime, or all three?
ʃchnuckʃ store quality does tend to vary by location. There is one off 364 and Harvester that has terrible selection and the produce is always bruised or starting to turn, but the ones in Frontenac, Des Peres and Ladue are all class-leading. IMO, there's not a bad Dierbergs location, though, and their thing where they smoke meats in the parking lot is pretty neat. I've lived in many other cities, and you don't find that at a big chain grocery store outside of St. Louis (maybe in the South). Better bakery as well. St. Louisans with taste will shop at the Smokehouse or Straub's, though, they have the means to.
>STL is rough
Nobody in this thread lives in St. Louis City, which is where all the blacks kill each other. We live in St. Louis County. Much safer.
>Nobody in this thread lives in St. Louis City, which is where all the blacks kill each other. We live in St. Louis County. Much safer.
I walk to the South Grand location and I'm white, you inner belt homosexual. I hate every moment I'm there but I'm not a coward. Straubs is for people who cant cook and hate money. Look at the locations.
IMO the Frontenac and Ladue schnucks are basically the same as the others
Frontenac has that cool grill thing, but the quality has gone down since I was a kid
Ladue schnucks is only nice because of that little side shortcut to Delmar to make getting groceries and a loop run easier
I'll have to check out the Des Peres one, I'm almost never in that area but I'm sometimes going to a REAL grocery store
(global foods)
Global, baby. If you haven't, swing out to Pan Asia in Manchester. Not bad by 141, and it's an absolute joy.
Pan Asia has a really good selection, but the best Chinese grocery stories are on Olive, east of 170. Wei Hong has the best Chinese bakery in town.
absolutely
if I need to buy bulk I'll head to pan asia, but I'll rarely buy that much and all I really need is a pineapple bun and a bbq pork bun and that's a nice little lunch
maybe some aloe drinks too
>>STL is rough
>Nobody in this thread lives in St. Louis City, which is where all the blacks kill each other. We live in St. Louis County. Much safer.
I live in E StL and am white.
How many strip clubs are within a 5 minute walk from your home?
Scarlets, Larry Flints, Ms. Kitty's, Cheeks, Onyx you name them.
Did they ever reopen Hollywood?
I was very confused by this post because I thought through the whole thread that STL was referring to Seattle.
Tbh I still haven't figured out what STL stands for
suck this log
based poop eater guy poster
I actually find the "meme" forced and obnoxious. at this point I want /b/ shut down because mods won't just ban anyone who posts it. I have no idea why I googled the Andy sixx poop image and posted that.
it's not that forced memes are bad. it isn't that poop is gross. it isn't even that I have absolutely no idea who andy sixx is. it's that it just really isn't funny.
>beholden to unions
sounds pretty based to me tbqh
Tell me you’re a woman without telling me.
I really wish 2016 didn't create the '/misc/ to literally any other board' tourist pipeline it dide. Holy living frick.
Do you also make sure to pray at your altar to the Sam Walton everyday little frickboy?
>liking unions is /misc/
>liking a thing companies shit themselves inside out over is worshipping Sam Walton
what did anon mean by this
Yeah, isn't Wal-mart historically anti-union?
Like basically every single company?
Every company is anti-union, spends millions hiring firms that specialize in anti-union propaganda, literally break the law because the fines are so low and poorly-enforced, etc. because it's never good to their profits to actually give their employees anything remotely close to what they're worth to them.
>boo hoo communism
yeah sure okay
My friend's dad tried to spread an already-existing engineering union to a different region of the US and he literally started getting drug tested weekly, coworkers literally saying they were uncomfortable publicly associating with him, constant corporate emails about how unions bad and oh gee it would suck if we had to move all your jobs huh, phone calls to his house where the person on the other end of the line just sat there breathing into the mic for a few seconds, etc. One of the things that genuinely redpilled me on unions when I was much younger.
While you are right, the reality of unions in certain industries is such that they offer no benefit to the employee and are worse than non union floors because the non union businesses do a lot to prevent unionizing that sometimes actually benefits the employee. It's really counterintuitive but it's what happens when a crab bucket union, of which there are many, is in a field with high turnover.
Based, unions only exist to poison the well in employee-employer relations, and to disrupt economics in an effort to prime the population for a bolshevik revolution. To be anti-union is to be pro-society
employer employee relationships don't exist, this is like saying there's a relationship between citizens and their dictator
While the reality is a lot less harsh, there is simply no power the average employee has unless they use collective bargaining
if you don't like a specific policy your business has that you can see doesn't work, your options are wait for your employer to realize this or quit--you can't change the way you work unless you fight to change the way you work
to be pro-union is to be pro-society, because a healthy society isn't dictated by a smaller, ruling class that does not listen to the majority
>t.has never been part of a union
what does a grocery store union even do? all i know is that they give their wagies guaranteed raises after x amount of months
Nothing really except collect dues from the employees already meager paychecks
>t.was in a grocery store union
Don't forget making less than other stores because the union is a crab bucket. I sure do love being stuck at minimum wage for a year with no benefits when the buttholes across the street make twice as much and get dental after six weeks.
i didn't know there were gold-collar unions, thought they were just blue-collar.
i think they're dumb for retail; you can't really improve on safety much, safety has been law for decades because lawsuits are so severe business is all for those as well. and you don't have the dues to really build. the model only works with skilled labor and then it's a 50-yr old model that didn't adapt because hey - low/no competition. but society and globalism went on
good unions are good, but there's only a few of those
Growing up in STL I never questioned how often the Schnucks and Dierbergs unions would go on strike. Now I know it's basically the only place in the country with grocer unions.
One of Hyvees in Columbia made a bizzare decision to dedicate about half of two aisles for this big candy store thing. Generally they're pretty good, I just wish they had better delis.
for me its save a lot
piggly wiggly
Fricking hillbilly
Primarily at the meijer up the road. I prefer to go to kroger for fresh meat or produce but it don't matter that much. I like how meijer does their mperks program. I usually end up with $10-20 off with all the coupons available on the app.
Yea this... And its not like you get too ripped off before coupons either their base prices on most things are pretty close to walmarts.
Where my value shoppers at?
I buy the clover leaf spam here because its a buck cheaper and tastes way better than hormel
It's not bad when you're comparison shopping and know what the deals are. I just wish I could get there when the bread goes on the floor.
Where my HEB chads at?
I'm too far north. This is Central Market territory.
It's great, almost like a better Whole Paycheck but also a bit cheaper.
All their produce is horrible. Rock solid, no flavor, been sprayed with all sorts of hormones to regulate unnatural ripening patterns.
Just buy canned fruit. Fresh produce is a meme unless its from a farmers market
The state of midwest cucks
Enjoy your diversity and flavourless tomatoes, Coastie
I didn't think food deserts were real until I heard this shit. Motherfrickers just telling themselves "fresh produce is a meme" to cope with the fact all they can buy is goyslop at the local HEB.
>Just eat canned fruit
HEB is from Texas, not the Midwest
From a food perspective, they're pretty much the same. Access to the same types of foods and produce.
That's like saying Thai food is the same as Chinese because they both have access to rice
Do you think there is a massive distinction between the types of foods people in Texas and the midwest can buy? It's 90% fast foot, frozen chicken nuggies, and BBQ.
You can buy fast food, frozen chicken, nuggies, and BBQ in California and New England
Yes but you can also buy real food too. You fat fricks are stuck with that shit
Where do you think the real food is grown?
Literal toddler level thinking. I don't want to get into the details of global trade or supply and demand dictating what is available for sale at local markets. Most fruit and vegetable available in the US is terrible as the FDA does nothing to protect the consumer, quality has been rapidly decreasing for decades. Everything is grown year round, kept in cold storage, harvested early, and sprayed down with ethylene gas to get it ready for stores. It's why all your food tastes like hollow cardboard and lacks nutrients. But it helps farmers increase their profits by 0.003% this quarter so eat the goyslop.
If you want to get decent fruit/veg in the US you are going to have to go to a bougie douche grocery and pay a little extra. That shit isn't available in Kansas where everyone is 300lbs and diabetic because 300lb diabetics don't care about eating a tomato with actual flavor.
I spent 4 years in Texas for school, it's why I have such strong opinions on the topic. Fruit and vegetables in Texas taste like cardboard replicas of the real thing. This problem is spreading to coastal areas too, but it's not as bad yet.
That's why you preserve the freshness of fruit by canning it. If you think all canned fruit is disgusting then you have never bought the good stuff. If you buy the lowest tier generic it is all mush, but if you spend a bit extra for name brand canned tomatoes, etc. they are pretty good
>heh yeah, I actually prefer the canned stuff
this is the real goyslop psyop right here. who cares if your fruit and veg is borderline inedible and only getting worse. just eat canned shit!!!
>T. Never been outside of his coastal shithole
No it's like saying people from different regions within the same country are more or less getting their produce sourced from the same place.
Are people on the Coasts getting secret food not available in the Midwest or Texas?
No.
Technically it's available in the midwest or Texas, but no one there wants it, so stores don't carry it. So it isn't easily accessible. The fruit in Texas is just god awful. I'm sure you could find some super hippy vegan store that carries good shit, but it would probably be more expensive and a hassle.
Schnucks is based especially the bakery section which is underrated in my opinion
>Where do you shop?
I've got a Kroger Marketplace near me and I pretty much don't need to go anywhere else for anything.
grocery outlet
new stuff everyday
Grocery Outleeeeeeeeeeet
Bargaiiinnnnnnn Maarkeeettt
toot too doo doo!
I hope it's as cheap as it looks and not just pandering to the self loathing with that graphic design.
Schnucks is pretty good. I worked in the bakery for like two weeks in high school, it was the worst job ever, which is why I only worked there two weeks.
Also, sorry to hear you live in St Louis bro If your going to live in an urban shithole, at least live on the west coast where the weather is nice
Meh, I've been living around Dogtown/UCity/CWE for the last ~5 years and haven't had any issues with crime despite being a mayo ass white boy. Kinda tall though. Humidity in the summer fricking blows though.
I don't believe you.
I believe that you don't believe me.
It is literally impossible to be around blacks and not witness them committing multiple crimes. I was driving through Shaw earlier today, stopping at the stop signs like a normal human being. A Black person behind me got annoyed by my police-supporting behavior and decided to pass me, which he did in an intersection, blowing through the stop sign, while speeding. A few weeks ago, I went to Ferguson for work. The house I went to was under renovation, with workers actively working. Shortly after I arrived, one of the workers came in and said that he witnessed a black walking away with his tool bag. When he made chase, the Black person hopped in a car and they sped off. So when you say that you live around these simians, and you've done so continuously for more than a few days, but never seen them committing crimes, I've got to call shenanigans. You are a liar. Simple as.
whatever you say schizo
>schizo
Who do you think you're convincing?
I'm sorry, sometimes I lash out with no real reason. You're not schizo
>he posts on an anonymous image board to convince people of things
I liked them more than Krogers n shit when I lived in Florida.
that's a weird way of telling us you have a dead-end job and have no family or friends.
Are you Canadian or British?
Even worse, he's israeli
Oy vey, you're not supposed to point that out!
Aldi is the best, and if not there, it's WalMart
t. anywhere in America
Strange....the only person I know who shops at Aldi looks almost exactly like the woman in your photo.
why is she so fricking hot
Aldi has some shit like bean soups and low carb bread but as a overall daily driver.. "Nah Senpai."
for me it's Winn-Dixie
asian and indian markets
i get flour and sugar at target
The Affton Schnucks is the best place to watch normies being normies. Back when it was 24hrs. Some homosexual was crying in his car while blaring Adele. Some soy gay couldn’t lift a case of water into the cart. Then at checkout some autist slag kept talking about her dead cat.
The friendliest stores in town bros!
I like when they employ a bunch of literal tards
I always like visiting my local ethnic markets. They always have the cuts of meat I need that normalgay stores don't dare sell.
Whole Foods, Ralphs, and Trader Joes. Make occasional Costco runs.
Frequent a small middle eastern market nearby for pita bread and hummus, but they also have great produce and some cool niche items you won't find anywhere else.
shoprite because jerseygay
Depending on what I'm buying
>BJ's Wholesale
>Aldi
>Shop Rite
>Stop and Shop
Big Y sucks big dick.
It isn't worth my time to shop for myself. I use shipt.
ay. based israeliteel. Berkot's chicken is better but ain't nothing wrong goin down to the israeliteels to grab some chicken to go with your mostaccioli
The Winco in Nampa, Idaho. $3 for a dozen eggs and $3.80 for a bottle of generic A1 sauce. At a Winco. In Idaho. This country needs to just get conquered and die so we can live off of CCP rice doles. its a more honorable path at this point.
/WI/BROS WHERE YA AT?
if you shop at one of these theres a 75% chance a grizzly has already gotten into your chicken coop
I have a dedicated butcher, miller, fishmonger and produce stand I buy from.
>he doesn't raise his own lambs
Usually Woolworths at Westfield Hornsby. The girl who works the self-service section on Tuesday to Friday afternoons is very pretty. I think I'll ask her out one day.
I occasionally shop at the grocery store I manage.
But mostly I just steal.
Nice, how much stuff are you able steal? Is it difficult or do you pretty much have free reign?
i got a kroger's and a butcher's in walking distance. my grocery bills were $1400 last month
