      That's not a biscuit, that's a McGriddle.
It's like a pancake with little bits of maple syrup inside.

I think it's meant to be a mcgriddle. It's got little pockets of syrup in the bread.

Would be great if they could like, grind up the bacon and make some kind of bacon patty out of it.

I've bought this several times and it is wuite literally sausage made of bacon, and it's just as ridiculously greasy as you could imagine something like that would be. It's absolutely delicious but I think each one I eat takes like two months off my life

it's pretty much universally agreed upon that the breakfast is the best thing at mcd's, but they charge fricking $2.50 for a single hash brown now.
my air fryer's not nearly as good as they are, but a brick of hash browns patties is $5 for 10

      >best thing on the menu
it's not on the menu and I promise I'm no fatty.
the best thing to order when you have a buy one get one free coupon is
egg mcmuffin add sausage, and a bacon egg cheese biscuit w/o cheese
put the bacon and egg on the muffin and get some jelly for the biscuit.
it's usually too early for such a meal, none the less, it's the best I've come up with

I think the sausage version is better, but only by virtue of the sausage - you could remove the egg and it'd still be the best sandwich. [See also ]
The bacon version is the better *breakfast* sandwich, though.

A BEC is just better in NY/NJ/CT, excluding NYC, they went too far with "the Ocky Way", mayo, and other bullshit that strayed too far from the true BEC. There are a few places with large numbers of ex-NYers like Florida and NC that can produce a respectable BEC, but the rest are just not comparable.

              >1 bridge
There are four main bridges and innumerable smaller ones at various other points around town. There are two small ones just behind the art museum, for example, one goes to the zoo and the other to Drexel University.
The main part of Philadelphia is literally between two major rivers so there are a bunch of different bridges crossing those rivers besides the four main ones and there are dozens of smaller streams that require bridge travel, as well.

    On what?
Biscuit? Neither. Ham. Out of the two, tho, it HAS to be bacon unless the sausage is in gravy form.
    Toast? Sausage.
Bagel? Bacon, but it MUST be crispy.
    Baguette/long roll? Bacon.
Wrap? Crumble cooked sausage and scrambled eggs.
    American pancake/waffle? Sausage.

    These truths are incontrovertible.

Sausage, obviously. Bacon isn't bad, but sausage gives you more meat. Plus, sausage doesn't require as much finesse. Bacon is only good if it's cooked enough to be nice and crispy, but it's easy to overshoot it.
