        I ordered a jets pizza once and it was fricking BROWN. I just looked at it and threw it away and decided to never order pizza from them again. There's too many local pizzerias in america run by people who know how to make pizza the right way to waste my time on brown pizza.

    the detroit style from little caesars is one of the best chain pizza offerings, but normally I like thinner crusts so a mix between New York (thin dough) and california (cracker like crust)

    For me, it's Quad-Cities style. Malty crust, toppings under the cheese (that finely-ground sausage!), cut into strips, very thin layer of tomato sauce, a sprinkling of oregano.

    neapolitan is #1 and new york is #2 but tavern style is an easy #3. anything deep dish or even thick crust is garbage, you're paying the same prices for less flavor. it's just bread at a certain point

      Why is bar/tavern pizza so similar around the country? From the east coast to the midwest, bar pie is pretty uniform in its form. I don’t know about the south or west coast bar pies but I think they’re the mostly the same.

        because it's the easiest kind of pizza to make. bar food is usually very low effort because as long as it's salty and tastes good, drinkers will love it. with tavern style pizza you don't have to think about forming a decent gas ring like with NY or neapolitan style or bother with tossing/hanging the dough or waiting for the dough to rise. just roll out a pre-portioned dough ball and put toppings on it and throw it in

    Whatever Domino's pan pizza is. I would say Detroit style but Little Caesar's Detroit style deep dish is the worst pizza of the big chains and Domino's pan pizza is the best.

    detroit for sure, love the crust and that crispy cheese edge. used to live in an area where little caesars was the only the only place that made it, theirs is a bit hit or miss on whether it will be doughy in the middle. now i live somewhere with a jets nearby and a more expensive local place that does it really well. gonna get fat as frick off this shit

    I've never had pala romana but if it's less 'bread' to cheese/sauce ratio than the Napoletana I could enjoy it all the same.

    Literally any of of these except the napoletana I could eat all the time without getting sick of it.

    Napoli style pizza is more like a once in a while change of pace thing, because I feel like I'm always tasting the bread more.

    Eat a real meal instead of opiod inducing cheese and bread. Cheese literally releases opiods in your brain.

    It's a shit food only consumed by stoners and lazy people. You should at all times have a pot of food already cooking in your fridge from the night before. I'd much rather cook a nice alfredo with chicken.
