I don't know what good ones are since they all taste kind of same-y to me but have you tried the expensive ass Dollar Tree ones?

      They taste exactly the same as [...] but they're $2 more for the same amount (FarmRich is $7/22oz and Dollar Tree has 5.5oz boxes for $1.25; 5.5oz × 4 = 22oz IE $1.25 × 4 = $5)

I'm too scared to eat Dollar Tree food

Fair enough. But I ain't gonna lie, bruh: they used to have these dumplings that were the shit. Honestly, best frozen dumplings ever because they were made by O'Tasty but specifically for Dollar Tree. Now, DT stores sell these shitty dumplings from Imperial. : (

As if either brand name meant anything.

O'Tasty makes all of the better dumplings sold in Asian supermarkets that aren't Wei Chuan. Imperial Garden makes Save A Lot egg rolls.

These ones are pretty solid, like 80% as good as ones you get at any pizza place. Their sauce needs work though, you're way better off getting any jar of marinara

Yep, Farm rich is garbage, these are peak frozen mozz sticks but they are like 7 dollars for a tiny amount. There really is no worthwhile store bought stick. Only solution is to make them yourself which really isn't that hard. All you need is a bag of string cheese, an egg, some breadcrumbs and some cheap oil. Throw in some seasonings if you have them but you can do it all in 5-10 minutes and have better tasting sticks than you could ever get from a store.

esl? Do you understand the meaning of context? They are peak for frozen but obviously not better than real ones made at home or a restaurant.

yeah I know what context means but it's fricking ironic you phrase it like that because it makes YOU sound esl, or just a dumb zoomer. also those Sysco cheese sticks are frozen you fricking moron

mozz sticks, flour, egg wash, italian seasoning, panko.

you can make about 100 sticks in half an hour and freeze them for ~$15-$20.

dollar store has packs of 36 sticks for like 10 bucks, you cut them in half. so you can make like 72.

Than why don’t they call it a toaster, Mr. Smartypants?

Because toasters have existed for decades and are cheap mass devices.
Therefore you cannot charge people for overpriced garbage without a hip new word.
Though they are less of a toaster and more plain and simply - an oven. But one that is really fast, even faster than a small portable one. SO they have their pros, but they are nothing fancy schmancy.

I'm serious here: has anybody actually eaten one that isn't totally bland? They're sort of good to eat because of the slight chewy texture, but there's no real taste

Because for some reason people are hung up on only using string cheese. Any melting cheese will work and most have more flavor. Just use a good mild cheddar or pepper jack or raclette. Also you need to season the crumb. Mix in some italian seasonings into the mix before breading. Or if you are feeling adventurous you can do any kind of seasoning really, curry, bbq whatever.
Get a good dipping sauce, doesn't have to be marinara, you can use bbq, honey mustard, ranch or just about anything. Explore different options instead of just going the plain and boring route.

They do have flavor, but the point is to be subtle with it so it doesn't overpower the marinara you dip it in.
