You ever notice how when you fold your clothes, more fit in the drawer than if you just ball them up and stuff them in?

Oh, I'm sorry, are you running out of space for pasta? Are you currently suffering from a pasta space deficit? Yeah, I didn't think so. Git gud, Italy. Be better.

Probably because they weren't moronic and very quickly figured out how to cook spaghetti without breaking it.

I always buy these on sale for 1.49€ for bolognese. I'm just surprised that these are still the same price as all their other pasta because the boxes are huge and take up like 10x more shelf space than Spaghetti etc. De Cecco is based for not raising the Tagliatelle/Pappardelle price or just making it 250g like others

De Cecco is my go to, I always keep a bunch of different kinds on hand.
      Cavatappi for macaroni and cheese
      Rigatoni for carbonara
      Bucatini for all'amatriciana
      Spaghetti
      although I buy this

Not a fan of store bought egg pasta, I think the taste is really weird. De Cecco actually sell (dried) egg Tagliatelle too but it's 250g. Would never buy again. Rana sell "fresh" egg pasta too but that was even worse than the dried stuff in my opinion. I guess you have to make it yourself if you want egg pasta. It has to be fresh

        >Rigatoni for carbonara
I find Spaghettoni so much more satisfying for this, the really thick ones that take at least 13min to cook instead of 10-11min. Rigatoni never look as creamy. Great for Amatriciana too.

Jesus Christ, you must like your shit way softer that I do. I boil regular spaghetti for 7-8 minutes and better quality, bronze cut stuff just a minute longer than that

I'm talking about the numbers on the packages. They give you a good idea of how thick the Spaghettoni is. Of course I never boil them that long.

i know this is moron bait but for anyone actually stupid enough to break pasta in half before putting it into a pot, you can just put it in normally. boiling water will soften it enough for all of it to fit within seconds
