Korean people do all the time. Usually mozz. It's the new hot thing with college zoomers.

After trying Korean pizza I firmly believe they should have their cooking rights revoked.

Also there’s a brand, maybe Nathans? I can’t remember. But they have cheddar cheese chunks inside the hot dog. Those are awesome broiled in the oven.

They make cheddar smoked links. They're okayyyy....
I love a slice or very sharp cheddar added to a BBQ sauced dog. esp with red onion. IT'as also good on a chili dog. The cheese that goes into the links by the manufacturer is pretty flavorless velvetta bits.

Mecican food trucks sometimes put string cheese on 'dogs. Tastes pretty good with bacon as well.

There are many, many brands that have cheese dogs, hot dogs with cheese in the middle. You’ve never seen these at the store? Where do you live?

Hormel used to make a cheese and chili stuffed dog back on the late eighties called Frank ‘N Stuff. Commercials still haunt my dreams.

I do. I cut open the buns fro mthe top, add cheese, put dog on top, wrap in paper towels and microwave for a minute on full until I get a warm moist bun with a hot dog and melted cheese underneath.
