    >Why don't americans
I'm gonna let you in on a secret. Americans do everything.
America is a larger country than you can even begin to comprehend. There's nothing that you could possibly suggest that isn't already done by a significant number of Americans.
    >stuffed pepper
Stuffed peppers have been a common poverty dish in America for over 100 years. You absolute fricking fool.

Americans boil, steam, grill, sauteed, fry, bake, broil, and more with vegetables.

This kind of post is just as moronic as when Europeans think American's just have pre-sliced, white, sandwich bread. We have bakeries here too and plenty of folks bake bread at home in a variety of different styles.

European here, anytime I'm trying a new bread/pastry recipe I'm checking King Arthur's Flour and 9/10 they're more reliable and trustworthy than the hundreds of euro cooking blog I could read.
They're always precise with the measuring and with good, sound tips.
Only other site I would trust blindly would be Güteküche (.) at, but harder to translate.

King Arthur stuff is pretty consistent in terms of quality.
I'm tempted each tax season to get my own mill and a stock pile of assorted wheat berries and my wife always talks me out of it

I did this and have never regretted it. Today I own a Komo Mio and couldn't be happier. Most of my grains are from Great River Milling in Wisconsin. 100% organic. I can have nutritious, tasty flour in two or three minutes. If you can afford $350, pull the trigger. If you want cakes or fine pastas, buy some cheap 40-60 sifters too.
