Why is heavy cream from the grocery store tasting watered down?

It used to be thick with a nice flavor and now it's not.

        Yeah everything transfers to milk. Pretty much any drug will, so there have been a ton of babies over the last thirty years on a diet of Mom's Valium, SSRIs and pain pills. If a woman eats really spicy food that even ends up in the milk

    I've noticed a decrease in the taste quality of most dairy like milk, heavy cream etc in lower-tier brands. They must've changed up the cow feed or something to cut costs because the flavor isn't there anymore. If you go one step higher than the cheapest option, the problem is solved though.

      When was this supposed watering down accused of happening? I get heavy cream on the regular and I have not noticed any change.

      I use it in dishes that call for milk when making cream sauces. Makes the sauce thicc and more tasty.

      I buy Amish. Check your labels. Mfrs are skimming the fat and replacing with vegetable gums, up to five different gums. Robbing us of nutrition in every more fiendish schemes, no joke.

    Your local farmers might be using different cows than they used to. Holstein cows produce an obscene amount of milk, but their milk isn't very creamy. Jersey cows are the best type for producing heavy cream.

    They were out of it last time I tried to buy some. I tried it on a whim a few months ago instead of using half and half in my coffee. It costs more but I end up using less to put in coffee so it balances out, and I think I prefer the cream.
    Cant really comment on the taste of it being different as I havnt even been drinking it that long.

    i read the ingredients for some of them and it has milk or skim milk as an ingredient after cream
