Sad thing is, if we ever experienced another economic crash on the level of the Great Depression, I think we know that it would become the "new alcohol"

Why the frick is fast food so expensive now?

Ukraine war increased the price of wheat, fertilizer and vegetable oil massively. America is in a recession and has been for some time. The global south is increasingly looking for better trade deals in Russia and China, because no one trusts America, the IMF or the world bank anymore, for good reason

What do you moronic Americans think your fries are cooked in? Wagie tears?

Curious that you don't mention every central bank in the world printing trillions in just 2 years because of a bad cough. And nobody in the developed world was buying ukraines shitty poison grain in the first place.

if you count friday night 3am drunks and crackheads as ""people"" then sure
fast food joints are empty otherwise, only place you see them with any customers is in Airports because there's literally no other option when you have to wait 9 hours for a flight

Because they're publicly traded companies and because of israelites. Dodge vs Ford made it so that companies have to make as much profit as possible and that means fast food places will price gouge the frick out of everything if they can get away with it.

First they told us raising minimum wage won't inflate prices
Now they're telling us inflation didn't happen because of increased wages, it's all because of corporate greed

fat lazy fricks cant stop buying it. only going to get worse for them as sensible people stop buying entirely and prices need to go up to maintain revenue.

The captive customer base has allowed them to pass on rising costs to the consumer and maintain profit margins, but there is scope to cut into those profit margins if it's needed to maintain sales. Increasing prices in response to losing sales to price increases would be a poor business strategy.

It probably has something to do with the fact that half the people out there order their food by delivery now. All those wage slaves busy delivering for uber eats means they have to pay more to attract wage slaves to flip burgers.

Here in California we're looking down the barrel of a $20 minimum wage coming soon, so stuff that's supposed to be cheap (like fast food) has become outrageously expensive.

hey Culinaly the worlds doing great you oughta grow your own food and veggies and perhaps plant a tree

the thibg with eating food is that you did not actually work for it... you see living animals that get turned into food and now you are all programmed to just see food prices rise versus looking into it

excuse me plz respect your food and eating habits you need not eat every 4 hours try every 3 or 4 days and so on go slowly and immerse yourself into the research and effort

and also... be mindful... food is very easy to obtain now, so any extra effort will help keep your mind and conscious guilt free

    Might be a combination of
    >you are in pre-war which is where an enemy country will covertly soften up a country before the take over (which doesn't necessarily have to be overtly) it could be demographically(replacing or diluting the existing population) or economically(buying up all your shit like land, business, debt) or politically (blackmailing or bribing or replacing politicians so they will do what the enemy nation wants them to do not what's in the best interest of the citizen's)
    which creates policies like
    >you can't have as many bovine on your farms now as they fart methane and that's killing the polar bears creating a scarcity in bovine
    as well as
    >open southern border bringing in saboteurs from enemy nations burning down food manufacturing plants via embedding themselves in extremist enviro organisations as well as an un-regulated increase in population through hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens that you have to feed

    as well as
    >then you have memevid inflation so you get paid the same but shit costs more
    as well as
    >war in the middle east = increased oil prices so all the food that gets to your plate is being transported via petrochemical powered engines so the increased cost of transporting shit is passed onto you and also those commando's from enemy countries coming through the southern border are also fricking up transport infrastructure so it costs even more to get food to your table as transporters have to go the long way round

    as well as
    >other industrial """accidents""" that affect the food production system like say a train derailment with toxic chemicals on it that is purposefully lit on fire polluting the ohio river which is important to farmers in the state.

    I hope this helps.
