I cook because I enjoy cooking. That's also why I frequent this board.
I suggest you too go find a board that caters to your hobbies or interests.

This board is named “Food & Cooking”, not just “Cooking”. Premade food is still food, to any sane person. It’s why we get so many fast food posts.

Then I suppose all posts that aren't about cooking should be summarily removed, right?

Oh wait, that isn't happening? I accept your concession.

Some people choose to employ chefs, others don't bother. There isn't just 1 kind of rich person

No, they all bother. When faced with the choice between employing a chef and buying some shitty processed food they'll choose the former, this isn't a matter of debate.

            Answer the question.
And no he doesn't "love" McDonald's. He is deathly afraid of people poisoning his food so he mainly eats fast food. In either case its irrelevant.

              >And no he doesn't "love" McDonald's.
His love of McD's is well documented. If you're down to arguing that 2+2 != 4 then there's not much point in further discussion with you, is there?

And of course it's relevant. Not all people of a certain economic class have the same tastes, and it's the height of stupidity to assert otherwise

Fair enough I was wrong. He does eat mainly fast food because of fear of poison though

makes no sense at all. you are able to get food poisoning from fast food, and they are also able frick with his food

omg someone call the health department this can't be legal!

I’m rich, lazy, and I don’t especially care about my health

I lived off almost nothing but zabars delivery for a few months last year when I had a broken bone and couldn't cook or go out easily, the iron from the chicken liver probably represents about 1% of my body mass at this point

never had that one but I suspect it will be alright. all the food at zabars is a throwback to what a successful holocaust survivor would have considered fancy in about 1995. old world comfort food for people who have seen some shit. so anything with fresh vegetables will be awful but the heavily cooked stuff will be good and the stuff that comes from sea critters will be good. actually one exception to the uncooked rule is the gazpachos (they have 3 kinds), all of which are fine. also the exception on the sea critter rule is the new england clam chowder which consistently has undercooked/crunchy potato chunks. you can try to cook it to a softer degree, but doing so without curdling the cream is tricky so I say just go a few blocks down to citarella and get their new england clam chowder which is unimpeachable

            Anonymous

Yeah Citarella’s soups are usually ok with the exception of their pasta gayioli which is like tomato paste

              >pasta gayioli which is like tomato paste
I don't mind it but I understand what you mean about the concentrated tomato taste. I get it a couple of times a month.

what do you think of their minestrone?

                Anonymous

The minestrone is decent, so’s the chicken soup. I usually go there for a container of meatballs or meatloaf though, maybe cutlets, and use it to make sandwiches for the week

It won't be as good as using a dutch oven and a little more labor, but that shit turns out well enough just dumping everything into your sloppa pot. You'll also have a week's worth of food for the $20 in ingredients and minor time investment on top of knowing what the frick is in your food.
