welcome to the world of unions having unlimited power, a minimum wage targeted to wagies affording bentleys, and mandated diversity hiring.

you asked for this, time to reap.

watching you two dipshits pretend this means anything at all on either side of the isle is a farce.
The real reason is inflation is NOT some meme 34% number. Fast food is entirely dependant upon gas prices (which are being gouged), food prices (which are being actively skyrocketed by burning down processing plants on the quiet). and lots of wasted electricity (power is being sabatoged and skyrocketed).
the idea that the tadpole israelites have a meaningful impact at the union level is fricking banannas. most of these companies are about extracting real estate value. even when a franchise closes these guys will print trillions before they sell a hollowed out building for what its actually worth. you are living in a israeli aristocracy.

Interesting that ultra processed goyslop increased in price but sysco slop served at Chili's/Applebees/etc didn't go up in price as high. Is it because they pass the labor costs onto the consumer via forced tipping?

A couple of fast food places in my town tried to go to drive thru only but the city told them they'd have to apply for different zoning if they wanted to do that since it creates a bunch of extra vehicle traffic. They all reopened their counter service. Think during covid when they were only drive thru their profits skyrocketed so they thought they could go back to that.
We do have a Rally's so it's not like the restaurants can't primarily be drive thru but there have to be traffic studies and then changes implemented to the traffic patterns in the area to accommodate them. Existing restaurants don't want to risk being assessed impact fees for the extra traffic.

Ubereats/Doordash and the likes increase the prices as well, as they take a huge chunk from restaurants through fees.

Everything increased in price by a fixed amount. That is a lower percentage increase for Applebee's compared to McDonald's because it was already more expensive.

It used to just be an option when I wanted something quick and didn't feel like cooking. Now I'll only bother getting fast food if I've got some kind of BOGO coupon or something like that. My wife and I recently went on a 2k mile road trip and didn't end up going to a single drive-thru on the way.

I've tried probably 50 times in my life and I could never make a burger that tasted even remotely similar to anything you could buy outside. I've tried different blends. Cast iron. Smash burgers. Nothing even close
