The bone would have been broken in the industrial butchering process, the chicken was just peachy while it was alive. Well, as peachy as an animal condemned to death can be, at all.

It wasn't only condenmed to death; its entire existence was one of being bread for death.

      >Chicken bred for its wings
      >Just peachy
If wings came from happy chickens they'd be $15/lb.

you don't know that. I've seen videos were workers throw chickens around and shit. I dont care that much but yeah these chickens are treated quite poorly.

I like getting a surprise chicken liver or two but that's more for rotisserie chickens not so much for wings.

How do I deal with the fact that i love chicken wings and sausages and beef but feel bad for how the chickens and pigs and cows are treated? I wish they were not needed to eat such tasty food and were treated much better then they are now. It really makes me sad they have to suffer for my wings and tendies and bacon and sausages and burgers and tacos. Wut do?

      Stop caring.

Either stop eating meat which in the long run wont really do anything. I guess you can feel morally superior if that makes you feel better. Or just become apathetic to it like a normal person.

When you get a 50 piece from hooters that's 25 or more chickens that died for a single meal

I'm glad they left my town 15 years ago so I don't have to know how terrible their prices got

Wing prices are insane at most restaurants now. You are lucky if you can find anywhere selling them $1 dollar a piece.

I used to go to 50 cent wing nights all the time in the late 2010s, how times have changed. I just grilled a pack of organic wings that was $11 and had seventeen wings, that price has remained steady over the years. Usually around 60¢ per wing.

Buy land, raise your own animals. Only eat the ones that die from natural causes (will be tough as shit and stringy, but oh well). Live primarily off animal products at a subsistence level. Rewild parts of your land to encourage native species, dig wetlands, plant native mixed forests, sow wild grasses, etc.

Nah. It contributed to preserving the life of a superior being. It should be happy, in chicken heaven.

...No. Now that you mention it, I haven't. Not once in my entire life. And now I'm a little weirded out by that realization.
