Remove the fricking "jelly", jam for the rest of the world.

      soulless bugmen

Any of the below would work:
      >toasted bread instead of untoasted trash
      >chopped peanuts (if you're using inferior smooth peanut butter)
      >banana
      >toasted sesame seeds
      >smashburger patty
      >thin slices of salty cheese (sharp cheddar, halloumi, etc.)

you try too hard to replicate having a good palate, your shortcomings are easily transparent through your choice in memefoods

          >bread only exists to be toasted

          >peanut butter NEEDS whole peanuts
then skip the spread and have a peanut and jelly sandwhich

          I'll give you this one
          sesame seeds
not a bad idea but definitely memey
          >overcooked chopmeat
you are black or a meme chaser, tastelet either way
          >it needs cheese for...le salty!
the fact that you used cheddar as an example and finding it comparable to halloumi proves you are just parroting whatever trendy food tiktoks you watch.
If you don't have a sensitive palate that's ok, but stop pretending you do and shitting on others while making things """"sophisticated"""" for the sake of following trends.

            >bread only exists to be toasted
If it's white sliced bread like OP's pic, then yes.
            >you are just parroting whatever trendy food tiktoks you watch.
I literally eat cheese and jam sandwiches on toasted bread regularly, and I've used both cheddar and halloumi.
            >also forgot to add that you are moronic for not understanding the concept of this thread
I know exactly what the concept of the thread is, that's why I said ANY OF THE BELOW, that means any one of them, as OP asked to add ONE THING, and everything is a literal addition except the toasted bread, which you could argue is "adding" char to the bread. Clearly your reading comprehension is suffering since I also never said to add whole peanuts, I called for chopped peanuts if using smooth peanut butter. Chunky peanut butter adds another dimension of texture to an otherwise soft and creamy filling in an untoasted sandwich.

Frick, man. I'm not arguing with a moron over a fricking sandwich.

              >I literally eat cheese and jam sandwiches on toasted bread regularly, and I've used both cheddar and halloumi.
again, describing cheddar as a "salty cheese" and using it as such makes zero sense, you don't know what you are talking about. Cheese is more than salt.
butter NEEDS whole chunks of peanuts
there is that better? Only literal autists are this picky about texture
also your opinions are forever worthless because you think smashburgers are valid
i'm genuinely surprised you didn't talk about adding avocado or kimchi to your pb & j

I like a good, classic PB&J. I like to butter my bread sometimes. I also like the toast it. A PB&J on toasted, buttered rye is very good. My father would put cream cheese on his and got me into it when I was a kid, but he refuses my addition of rye.
