No it's not off topic. OP is too lazy to look for recipes himself so starts a half ass thread to be spoonfed.

God forbid we discuss recipes on thr cooking board

            >for me
            >its (insert anything here)
            boom done.
this is your genius idea for a thread and call for discussion. what exactly did you expect by posting this? a few people posting a recipe or something? search for steak recipes you mongoloid and stop crying when people make fun of you for shitposting. consider assisted suicide. assisted by me

It's hardly a discussion. It's always people too lazy to look through Google. If it was a discussion OP would have mentioned a recipe or how they/them enjoys it.

          This guy’s technique https://youtu.be/72pXASYZXoQ
He uses almost 1:1 wine to stock which i feel is too much

I've made it many times before with a 1:1 ratio and it's always worked out well for me
Maybe you should add more bacon

the wine you use is important. make sure its something you'd actually drink. "cooking wine" shouldnt exist.

Dry rub it, sear it, then braise in beer. Shred it with two big forks, then use it to make nachos.

Either stroganoff, or I cook some onions, garlic, celery and carrots down in some worcestershire and red whine, with rosemary and thyme, add beef chuck chunks I’ve browned, slow cook it for at least an hour while adding splashes of water when it got too thick, then add some flour, thicken it, add peas, then put it into a deep baking tray, top with mash, top that with grated parmesan, bake for twenty, and enjoy me some chunky cottage pie.
