That or dice it into your soups and stews, or make bloody marys with them

        this
dice and sweat, then add to stew. Goes amazing in tomato soup

For real this. If all else fails, just make the simplest thing you can think of.

Its really good added to chicken and tuna salad.

Don't be afraid to slice it diagonally and include it into a stir fry.

Mirepoix enhances many things as well. From soups to pan fries.

Unironically the same issue, have never used the whole thing. Can you freeze it or nah?

      >Can you freeze it or nah?
I hate celery and never tried to freeze it but at least for celery root freezing works if you just want to use it as mirepoix and filter it out of the sauce anyways.

okay so freezing seems to work, blanch it then chop it up and it'll keep up to a year

Just eat em raw, frick it. Maybe heat up some peanut butter and dip it in

You can freeze it if you plan to cook with it, but not if you want to eat it raw. The freezing process destroys the texture because the water in the cells crystalizes and expands. If you're using it for mirepoix, then it's fine. When I buy vegetables for mirepoix, I wash them and cut a bunch of celery and carrot sticks, out them in a tupperware, cover with water and pop the lid on. Keeps in the fridge for over a week. The rest gets diced and frozen for soups, stews, sauces, etc.

    Gumbo base
    tuna salad
ingredient in most soups and some stews
ants on a log or just celery with peanut butter
    celery with pimento spread
    a side for buffalo wings
    bloody mary stir stick
if you have a dehydrator you can dry some out to add to packet instant noodles

Just have a stick for after meals. Chop it up, put it in a little bowl by your plate. Its like nature's chewing gum. If you're a man you should be eating a stick every day.

Of course a coomer has to ruin the thread by suggesting to put on a girly cooking apron, kneeling down in the kitchen and putting a celery stalk up one's ass until a prostate orgasm is archived. Frick off.

It's an essential part of the chicken bok choy soup I make. It doesn't seem to add very much flavor but if I don't use it the soup tastes wrong.

It's too fibrous to eat raw. How do ppl do this? I put it in my ninja and liquify it into celery sauce that I spread on toast.

When I buy it it lasts a week happily, I don't really struggle to use it. Celery is a background note when cooked so it really can go into almost anything
