for me, It's the Italian Stack which doesn't contain anything Italian
YPNR4
It has mozzarella cheese on it and the bun is focaccia inspired i suppose
YWNBAW
For me, it's the McChicken
Americans don't know this but their McChicken is our mayo chicken aka shit compared to the REAL BRITISH MCCHICKEN
I thought they didnt look as good whenever they posted them. The UK McChicken is great. Its bigger and the texture of the meat is better instead of just formed meat like the small mayo chicken
Yep. Our Crispy Chicken is your British McChicken I'd wager
Picture takes me back, frick
>thr spicy veggie one
Holy frick they realized how braindead their target audience is
>oi luv, giv us a wrap, the bbq bacon chicken one ta
I'll have about nine chicken selects thanks
>Mozzarella Dippers
Why isn't this available in the US?
They are limited edition but are pretty frequent. They rotate them with other things like in pic related or chilli cheese bites
they're not amazing. they're pretty greasy and the mozzarella doesn't impart much flavour. just like everything from McDonald's.
Is Big Tasty and Quarterpounder the same thing?
t. continental
Similar. Big Tasty is a lil thicker and the bun is appropriately sized unlike with the quarterpounder
Fries because they're cheapest
Yank mcds offer buttermilk chicken or grilled.
Regular fries are more expensive than a cheeseburger and the mayo chicken. Regular fries are 1.19 those burgers are 99p
>no maestro burgers
>no crispy chicken drumsticks
I sleep
This.
>no chili sauce chickenburger
>no chicken legend salsa
what a garbage menu
They do those burgers and the sauces, just add em yourself
Why does America have the worst menu? You'd think an American company would provide a home advantage, or at least parity, but no.
McDonalds is about market consistency, and each international subsidiary is in charge of making sure food on one end of the country tastes the same as on the other. The US is a massive market with complex supply chains. It's much more difficult to manage than somewhere the size of the UK or Germany or even Japan.
Almost all of the restaurants are also licensed franchises rather than being directly owned by McDs. All that corporate requires is that the franchisee has the big name menu options, otherwise they can do whatever they want if it turns a profit.
it's the difference between being the country where the chain developed versus being a country that got the mature chain fully formed all in one go
Regular hamburger x 6
The bread to meat ratio is way off, I'd rather have 3 doubles.
2 McPlants, 2 Veggie Dippers and a large coke
thrilling to see they have vegan options
>thrilling to see they have vegan options
They don't.
Yeah they do. The McPlant, Veggie dippers and the Spicy One are all Vegan society approved . McDonald's fries in the UK are vegan to.
The artificial cheese on the McPlant has a warning about potential dairy contamination and the veggie dippers share a fryer with the McNuggets. Also, it's the Vegetarian Society, not the "Vegan Society", and they're paid-for hacks.
I don't mind many of the "vegan alternatives" on the market these days but vegan "cheese" is unironicaly disgusting
Its texture is dreadful. Its like plastic and doesn't melt.
>The artificial cheese on the McPlant has a warning about potential dairy contamination
thats because its basically margarine. this shit is 99% oil and a bit of pea protein. you should see it when it has sat there too long and sweats out all the oil
>veggie dippers share a fryer with the McNuggets
absolutely false. the veggie dippers only ever go into the vats with the chips (fries for the homosexuals) which is entirely vegan
the veggie burger is vegan too, though they dont really advertise it because of the mcplant
source: i work there
basically before xmas 2021 we stopped getting the sandwich sauce (which had egg in) and got a replacement vegan option as a "temporary" thing. then the temporary became permanent because we never got the old stuff back, just the vegan shit now labelled as sandwich sauce, and the mcplant rolled along which contains said sandwich sauce. this sandwich sauce goes into the veggie burger too
Inspired me to post my country's current menu. I haven't had Maccas in like a half a year but doesn't look like there's anything different there from when I last had it except some dipping sauce. Also half it is fricking drinks.
Christ , could you not have cropped and resized it neat and made a picture in a normal size like OP. it'll take a week to load that picture on a mobile
No.
PC posters get the rope.
your menu looks much much better than the US menu...
Something about the phrase "McFamily(tm)" really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Huh, there really is a McChicken sauce
Because it has mustard in it, an ingredient not found in normal mayo, they have to call it McChicken sauce or mayo-style sauce in markets where mustard is recognized as a common allergen.
Still, if you ask for mayonnaise at mcdonalds they look at you like you are a moron. its like they never heard of mayo in their life and have no fricking clue what you mean
maccas sour cream dip has more mayo than sour cream
McPlant sounds like something Lisa Simpson would initially protest and then get addicted to in season 21
Interestingly, this was sort of a plot point in later seasons (not Lisa but the town getting rich off Burn’s meatless offerings)
man I wish mcdicks in the US still sold those chicken wraps, that shit was too good
They were ducking great. Even those smaller snack wrap ones they had a couple years ago were good. I used to get them on road trips, super easy to eat while you’re driving.
For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".
Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.
I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.
Only thin worth eating at McDicks in the UK is the breakfast
Luv sausage n egg mcmuffins
Luv hash brows
Luv cheap coffee
Simple as
The breakfast offerings in McDonald’s are great (I don’t even mind the cheap flatbread thing)
Even a hash brown and coffee in the morning was pretty good (treat for myself when I was a poorgay finishing my late night shift in the morning)
What the frick is brown sauce?
What bongs call steak sauce. Think: A1, or Heinz 57
Nope. Just because it's brown doesn't make them the same.
HP Sauce.
I have it on hash browns though I'm not British.
40 mcnuggers
Filet o fish, fries, mozzarella dippers and an Oasis to wash it all down
Where the frick is the Royale w/ cheese?
I wish the US still had chicken selects bros
Medium double cheeseburglar meal with a sprite
Can't get double cheeseburger meals. That's a cheap saver menu item. Double cheeseburger is about 1.79, medium fries 1.19 and medium sprite about 1.19. All the "premium" burger meals start at about 4.79, Big Mac etc. So youd just order the other items individually
Triple quarterpounder with cheese. No sauce.
Large diet coke too.
It pains me so much how nerfed the UK menu. So many items lost over covid and they're never coming back 🙁
nah m8 i’m just going to greggs instead for a sosij roll, simple as
Is "cool mayo" just ranch?
Its standard mayonnaise they use, its just their need for a descriptive term and to differentiate between the spicy mayo
Whats the differnece between Chicken Sandwich and Mayo Chicken ??
Note: breakfast still stops at 10.30 here. And damn I miss the Breakfast Wrap - the Breakfast Roll is decent however.
The Big Tasty is the same as it ever was, but it’s not been on the US menu for a very long time, since McDs were trying to compete with the Whopper. It’s a good burger when it’s available but it’s an occasional here.
Mayo chicken is plain roll, and a thin 1:10 chicken patty. The McChicken is sesame seed bun, and a thick chicken breast 1:4 of higher quality. I’ve never had the Chicken Legend.
No. They are fries. Thin cut, crunchy.
Chippy chips are much thicker, not crunchy, and softer.
McPlant, veggie dippers and side salad
Do you guys call them chips at McDonald's?
in the uk? absolutely. we berate any homosexual calling them fries
The menu board literally calls them fries, fricknut. Everyone who's not a complete moron understands the implicit difference between french fries and chips.
The term "fries" is used in the UK, just for this specific kind of thin, crispy chip. So it's normal to call McDonald's fries either "fries" or "chips" but wrong to call the chips you get with fish and chips "fries".
Quarter pounder, no cheese, add bacon. Chicken nuggets. Fries.
One McPlant please
for me it's the McPlant
Big Mac, Crispy Chicken Italiano, Fries.
Water from home.
Give me back the breakfast bagels
The grand big mac should be a permanent menu item
The Grand Big Mac should replace the Big Mac
double quarter pounder with cheese and fries
A cheeseburger, a hamburger, large fries. A thankyou.
I can't get enough of those soft buns. Frick sesame seed.
Should order a big mac and ask for them to swap the seeded bun for a plain bun
Isn't bacon haram in UK?
Also
>no mc muffin
See
for breakfast menu
For me, it's the staff never including the fricking dips you ordered.
No Royale With Cheese/10
I had the Italian Stack yesterday, so I think I'll give the Crispy Chicken Italiano a whirl
How was it?
I usually get the wrap of the day for £1.99 (£3.60 meal), sometimes a triple cheeseburger. The KFC twister of the day is better though.
As for breakfast, I think the breakfast roll is better than the mcmuffin.
