why is this board so fricking bad? why would anyone bother to post this shit? couldn't you spend your time doing something better, like even mildly amusing shitposting?
i was watching something and i ate some lime creme cookies and thought damn these are good and then thought about the lack of lime flavoring in american foods (there’s no lime ice cream, lime sodas, lime isn’t even used in a lot of savory dishes) and said to myself damn lime is underrated and then i decided to post this thread to hear what other people think.
you're a fricking autist, in the past you people would be in homes and off the internet, it should go back to that, go read your thread on Kiwi Farms and then eat a bullet
Key lime pie is fairly popular at least in Florida. Sprite is a lemon-lime soda. Lemon seems to be more traditional in American food for savory dishes for whatever reason, while lime is associated more with Mexican food. You'll find limes used often in Tex-Mex food.
This one time, my buddy Stupid Gary put a lemon slice instead of a lime in his Corona. It exploded, the glass embedded in his face, you do the math, now we call him Stupid Ugly Glassface Gary. If it ain't broke, don't make lemonade. (Don't even get me started on moron Rick, who tried putting a lemon in de coconut.)
key limes are different from regular limes
They taste even better but have a thinner rind and don't last as long in transport so they're kinda rare to find outside of the south
its a bot asking a time wasting question, or, objectionable open ended opinion (like lime being the most under rated fruit when its prolific everywhere). Bots like these are designed to make the board less interesting over time.
>why would anyone bother to post this shit?
to farm (You)s for dopamine, and to farm Greentext for their patreon linked youtube channel
i get a feeling as well that some zoomers use Culinaly as a board to test shitposts and baithread formats for other boards like Culinaly and Culinaly
Somebody tell me how to tell if these guys are gonna be bitter or not. I don't know what I'm looking for. It seems like I usually only have this problem with key limes. Sometimes they're fine and sometimes they're bitter as frick and ruin anything I put them in.
Have any of you morons ever made mayonnaise with lime juice? Yesterday I was making my weekly batch and I had both lemons and limes in the fridge and I was tempted, but I chickened out and just used a lemon.

mayonesa is mexican lime juiice mayonnaise, and it's delicious. When I make cole slaw, I mexicanize it with cilantro, lime zest, lime juice and a bit of a grate of jalapeno,.
These seem to be everywhere now, probably because of coastie cuck hipsters trying to make it the next big thing. Unlike some of you I don't pretend to enjoy noxious, foul-smelling 'diversity fruit' because I don't hate america or the white race but have fun paying over $1 for shitty DEI lemons that give you liquid explosive volcano shits
I don't know OP, I don't think you're that bad.
Limes are great. Durian Fruit would be one I avoid other than trying it for a first time.
yes, you are.
