Take two slices of your favorite white bread.
Butter one side of each slice.
Add a little salt and pepper to the buttered side of the bread slices.
Place on slice in your skillet, butter side down.
Add a slice of American cheese.
Pepper the cheese slice.
Place the other slice of bread on top of the cheese with the buttered end facing up (towards your ceiling).
Use a flipper to check under the sandwich, in a few minutes it should be a golden brown color on the bottom.
Now carefully flip over the sandwich and fry the other side the same way, it should only take a few minutes.
Turn off the heating element and move the skillet from it.
Use the flipper to slide your sandwich onto a plate and then eat it.
