It's https and their security cert checks out. They redirect you to your local website if you live outside the US (https://www.lecreuset.ca/ and such).
Seems legit. What's your problem?
I used PayPal
When it got to the payment part, the payment went to a "walker julie inc.". PayPal also asked for my password, and they should have recognized my computer.
When I was a kid they were telling us in school the next gen would be super computer geniuses from growing up with the stuff, instead we went full circle and they're just as dumb as boomers.
Why are zoomers like this
Because they were raised on smartphones and not on actual computers and never had to deal with things like your computer bricking up because you clicked the wrong link

Have just a little self awareness. Your whole internet browsing experience is a scam.
EDIT: the website was lecreusetshop.us
sorry I'm a bit flustered
Boss, I'm so sorry.
That said, it's probably some 3rd party retailer or... >pic
Might wanna change your Paypal password and freeze your credit card for a bit.
OP literally just got tricked into using an unsecured webpage created 3 days ago offering a designer product at 75% off. I'm not feeling like the stupid one here.

What do you unironically use? Really curious.

It's a Brave browser shill. They get paid for advertising their pajeetware browser and also for clicking on ads.
80% of time if someone shits on Firefox it's them.
The Staub I ordered from a local official importer seems legit, but it smells toxic after going in the very hot oven for an hour. Not sure if Dutch oven paint is supposed to be like that.

No, he resigned for opposing gay marriage. Which is good because he was incredibly problematic anyway.

I work in IT, specifically IT security, you can legit use any fricking browser you prefer. Even Microsoft Edge is incredible nowadays.
The only browser tech bros won't give you lip for is IceCat but good luck getting any modern website to run on it without writing some cheeky code for it.

Firefox is an okay browser, mozilla is a garbage company. The original Firefox crew has been downscaled to a skeleton team and they work on SeaMonkey. That team gets almost no funding yet every new thing that gets added to the firefox browser comes from them.
Some people still think Firefox is the browser that respects your privacy and they couldn't be further from the truth. No browser does that anymore (except IceCat but, again, not a lot of user friendly usability)
To be fair, I almost got caught up in the all clad seconds sale after some anon posted about it here. I literally just googled "all-clad sale" and the first link was a scam for a 8 piece set for $199. I knew it was too good to be true and the timer made me extremely anxious to replace my old shit. By the time I decided to go through with it, it sent me to the PayPal payment page, and then I said nope. You know better if a reputable site only accepts PayPal. Frick, I wanted to believe!
I ended up getting a calphalon set instead, no real regrets, except it's not that d5 shit.. oh well.
>439 reduced to 99 >only 16 left in stock >76 people viewing right now
obvious scam is obvious, they always pull this FOMO shit
you can probably get your money back from paypal, contact them you dummy
What burns me is that I'm on a very limited income and it was supposed to be a wedding present. I once bought a Staub dutch oven online for about $80 iirc, so this didn't seem so farfetched.

Damn, my condolences. I hope you can work this out with PayPal and get your money back.

He's golden, they'll get him his money eventually, it's easy for buyers to scam sellers via eBay or whatever PayPal purchase; everyone knows that they always side with the buyer.
Oh man
Did they take any money or did you just back out when they asked for a paypal password?
Even if you didn't lose anything it must be a disappointment but I guess a relief
I mean, hold up: you did get a payment receipt from Paypal? They're usually pretty good about fraud refunds, assuming you don't actually receive a product despite being charged.
However, if they do send you some weird wonky lead-painted knock-off, you might not have a defence for falling for it.

I mean, a 75% off Le Creuset on a 3 day old website meant to look like the official one reeks of a dropshipping knock-off scam to me, but that's just me. OP's course of action should involve using the contacts on the website and mention his concern, recording everything in case he needs to make a fraud dispute on Paypal.

How this website has fallen
I don't even think "Gay Sex WITH HATS ON" is even still up.
>3 Culinaly threads
idk I think he did okay
0/10 for your browser tabs, where's the gay sex with hats?
dispute it from paypal or your creditcard.
lol, well put, I was gonna say >hes browsing /b/
Report the scam website to Le Creuset and maybe the company will thank you with a gift card
What dns are you using?
That just redirects to the official website, are you double moronic? Or am I double moronic?
EDIT: the website was lecreusetshop.us
sorry I'm a bit flustered
Whois lists some rando in the US with a Gmail account as the contact.
shit
That's shit op, I hope you don't get screwed over by this
How did you find this website?
Googled 'le creuset dutch oven'
it was the first result in shopping
Oh man
Did they take any money or did you just back out when they asked for a paypal password?
Even if you didn't lose anything it must be a disappointment but I guess a relief
I got a confirmation email from PayPal but nothing's showing up in my bank account (yet)
Ah
Well assuming that's the actual paypal email and not a fake one then you're probably okay hopefully...

I didn't know it was a 3 day old website
I don't think to check WHOIS info on every site I visit
Nah, that's reasonable, I'm mostly criticizing with the power of hindsight.
Maybe you should on the ones you're putting your paypal or credit info in lol
>it was the first result in shopping
never use the first result
Is that the guy that stole a poster in North Korea and was run so ragged in prison that he died when he was released?
yes
yes
he was a vegetable when he went back
Lil Kim iced Warmbeer
What mushroom and what website
Portobellos on walmart.com
Yuck, I prefer champignons
Us Fun-Guys hang out at r/mycology - if they didn't tell you its a scam chances are high they have no clue what they talk about
I for one will now go and make a mushroom risotto (again)
Based fellow traveller.
Yeah, lecruset is a scam. Your fault for buying.
call yo bank dawg...
Le creuset needs to get their shit together if lecreuset.us was available for a scammer to use. How have they not got every domain locked down?
Read the thread. OP wasn't just a regular moron.
>lecreuset
it was the website that got you?
