I'm going on a diet of nothing but beans, potatoes, and meat protein for a month.
hypothetically, this should give me everything my body needs if eaten in high enough volumes.

OP here. what are some recipes that you can give me to help me make it through without necking myself from boredom?
>meat protein
hope you include eggs in that
I'm including all meats (fish and egg included), along with condiments like mustard, hot sauce etc.
you might as well include chocolate
too much sugar.
0g of sugar is too much sugar?
I think you're gonna wanna add some rice to the mix.
why? potatoes give me all the carbs I need
Calm down Seamus
It's not the carbs but the protein. Beans don't have all the amino acids you need to live and neither does rice, but if you eat them together you get all the protein types you need.
potatoes and fish do. both of which I will include in my diet.
what is the goal of this diet? why are you doing it?
I want to lose about 5kgs and I think by stacking my diet with protein will help. also, I just want to try it to see what happens... as I love beans, meat and potatoes.

i lost 60 kg on keto.
This is what I was going to ask. Also there is absolutely no reason to eliminate vegetables, especially leafy green ones. Add raw and cooked vegetables to that if you want a really healthy diet. And consider fruit as well.
>beans are veggies
I'm doing a sorta keto I guess.
I don't like chocolate
There's s guy who ate nothing but beans for a month while training and ran a super marathon.
how many beans did he eat per day?
no thanks, I make my rules.

drop potatoes and meat
Potato and onion gives you all 9 essential amino acids and will sustain you for real cheap
you need more fibre or you'll be shitting out bricks
get some fruit and veg in there
beans and potatoes are basically laxatives they have so much fiber...
so a normal diet? i dont think youre going to feel sick because you didnt eat your lettuce, so its no big deal. beans have a shitload of nutrients, just google which ones you want to eat. theres so many different dishes you can make with just those ingredients
give me a recipe you think would be nice
you could go for something like a cottage pie. are you counting peas as beans?
you have to boil kidneys for like 20 minutes at a high boil before cooking them or you'll get violently sick
canned beans are pre-cooked
If you're going to eat nothing but beans for a month you may want to branch out from canned
I said potatoes and meat as well.
>no water
anon...
of course I'll drink water anon.
>I'm going on a diet of nothing but beans, potatoes, and meat protein for a month.
imagine the shits
Cut out everything except beans
you should eat a couple of oranges every week as well. a few glasses of milk won't go astray either.
dude is going full mexican
potatoes isnt' Mexican.
I had some old dried beans sitting in my pantry. I soaked them for DAYS and cooked them in a pressure cooker for over 30 minutes. And they were still tough. Turns out old dry beans are just like that.
