I'm thinking about buying fast food burgers in bulk and keeping them in my fridge. How long do you think burgers would last? I could make the drive to burger king about once a week, so would a burger last six days in my fridge?

They'd "last" in the sense of still being safe to eat for quite a while. But they'd be pretty unpalatable after like an hour tops.

Probably better off in the freezer

I can vouch for a week. A while back Hungry Jack's was selling two for one Whoppers for limited periods, and I would buy 14 of them to keep in my fridge and eat two cold Whoppers a day for a week. The bun goes a bit stale, but it's still tasty.

It felt luxurious to have all those burgers. It was a happy time.

I moved to a small town with no fast food because I am a laboratory hospital guy and no one is willing to live in small towns(probably because of the fast food thing) and I'm considering just stocking up in the big city every so often.

It's not very economical to do it that way, it just ends up wasting food. to compete with restaurants you have to buy in bulk but most of it doesn't get eaten before I throw it away.

Restaurants still charge usually 300% of what their food costs. And if you're just bulk buying burgers there shouldn't really be any waste if you're making it at home anyway since you're constantly making the same thing.

Okay. You're right. I'm going to start living the way I want to. I'm tired of doing what everyone else wants.

Not that hard to plan out meals in advance so this doesn't happen

I cannot predict what I will want to eat in three days time.

Then you don't know if you'll want the goyslop before it rots in your fridge.

well, as you just admitted, it's not really food, but specially formulated chemical slop designed by israelites that I've been tricked into eating. Predicting that I'll want a burger in three days is easy to do. After all, it's the Zionist master plan. read a book sometime and you'd know this instead of just spouting off buzzwords you don't even understand

        Skill issue.
If I see something about to go bad I make a big pot of whatever dish I can make with it and just keep reheating it while it lasts.

Where the frick is the information coming from? I keep seeing moron zoomers repeat this easily refuted lie.

zoomers are morons and think ingredients can't be used for multiple meals

People who "easily refute" the "lie" always fudge the numbers and neglect to account for hidden costs.

What about buying a bunch of frozen hamburgers? They sell boxes of them at Costco (sometimes have a coupon too)

as someone who used to buy 2 or 3 whoppers a day (when they were $1). I would buy 2 on the way in to work. eat one for breakfast (my shift started at 2pm), put the other in my lunch box.

reheat the second one and have it for lunch, or sometimes eat it cold. I can tell you that trying to eat whoppers all week long is going to get boring.
        the lettuce gets soggy.
basically you would have to buy them, immediately remove the burger to a seperate contianer, then reheat the burger later and re-assemble.

no matter how you do it though. the lettuce will wilt, the bun will dry out, and so will the burger.

There’s something about a chilled whopper straight out the fridge that I love. Used to buy an extra one to toss in there back when they were cheap.

    lol
I did something like that while at uni.
Ever see the video of all the black people upset that they couldn't get fried chicken at Popeyes cuz they were sold out? I'd like to think I was part of that problem. The things was two eight-pieces for $5 on 4/20, but only those two and that was the end of it m Well, where I lived at the time, there were a BUNCH of Popeyes locations within a short distance of one another so I visited not one, not two but five locations and frozen the leftovers, figuring it would be much different than those boxes of fried chicken from the supermarket but much, much cheaper (and better).
I've also frozen BK breakfast croissant things because they used to give you these coupons for bogo on those so I'd buy the two, eat the tater tots they claim are hashbrowns and freeze the sandwiches for future eats. Worked fine. Tossed out the foul-ass coffee the first time and just got tea after that.
Haven't been to any fast food joint except Popeyes once it twice since the early Trump administration, tho.
Anyway, I say get them with no vegetable toppings and just freeze the burgers. They should be fine.

If you're going to keep something for a time then I think you should get something like wendy's frozen burgers and keep them in a freezer.

My grandmother did this when I was a kid. McDonald's burgers would sometimes go on sale for 25 cents each and she'd go stock up and freeze them. They kept for quite a while and reheated remarkably well.

I realized that testing it by buying seven burgers is dumb. I only need to buy ONE burger, and leave it in the fridge for seven days. If it's still good on the seventh day, then it will also be good on the preceding six days.

just like in the bible really.
