Thrifty. It's a local grocery store targeting Mexican and Caribbean Island customers. Veggies are great with a variety that you just cannot find in mainstream supermarkets. They have veggies that most white people wouldn't buy (I'm white, but a fan of ethnic food). They have the best sea food too. And where else can you buy bull penis? 🙂 It's called "Pizzle" and I don't have the balls to try it... yet. Better food than Publix at about 70% the price. Great place. There are only 4 of them and they are concentrated in Brevard County Florida. But I'm sure any community with a large Mexican population would have a similar market.
>Harris Farm
frick yeah
the one in leichhardt is god tier, has a salumeria right in the middle of the store.
i'm sad that i moved out to the shithole that is western sydney and now the near harris farm is half an hour's drive
Albertsons & QFC are better. I did like how my local Safeway back when I still lived there was open 24/7 and had a liquor aisle though. Going on booze runs at 3am was nice.
Mah fuggin Sam's Club. Literally the only place to buy meat without getting your butthole ripped out. Went and blew $60 today and got 5lbs of chicken breasts and 10lbs of 90% lean ground beef. They also have my GFs coffee creamer in frick huge bottles for the same price as the regular bottles at other stores. Some shit is comparatively priced to other grocery stores but meat is always cheeper there.
Only because I've only ever seen about 5 other shoppers at a time in there and moseying around an empty grocery is therapeutic. See I get it old farts but stop doing it in crowded stores.
I need to go to at least four stores just for my regular single-ingredient items because we live in a society. I also go to the big city farmers markets, hmong markets, and other stores. Sometimes I get stuff from dad's garden.
Costco for 80% of things
Safeway for specific things like protein pasta and fresh herbs
The shop in town for day to day little things
TJ’s is in the city 2 hours away and I get there every couple months to pick up some kind of “special” treats for meals. I especially like their cheeses and sauces.
Hear me out. I can go to Walmart and see 12 kinds of mustard, 7 of them different variations of French's Yellow. It's too much. If you have more than 3 choices, you get decision fatigue and are no longer capable of making an informed decision.
I go to Aldi and there's 1 kind of everything. I can focus on the products rather than the kind of product.
Most of my meat comes from harvesting animals. Freezers thicc with all kinds of large and small game. Everything else I get at Walmart. No one believes me either and a surprising amount of people get offended for some reason. Last weekend people were saying how amazing the bell peppers I made were and not a single person at the table of 6 believed they were from Walmart. Same thing happened with plantains. Fricking plantains. I mean who the frick is a plantain snob in 2022?
TL;DR walmart is the best. If you can't make food from walmart work it's a skill issue.
Walmart produce is absolutely worse quality than other stores. But I'm a commiefornian and can get very quality produce. Maybe it's all equal in flyover country.
bros I was at wal mart the other week with my dak prescott jersey on and I was in the chip aisle buying some tasty snacks when I saw my wife with her coworker picking out ice cream (dude looked like he had been doing crossfit for years) She never saw me and i never brought it up but Im worried this could be a sign she is cheating on me
None. I do not have any loyalty towards any business. I will go wherever the one with the best deal and quality exists for my needs one day, and I will abandon them to the winds the next day.
walmart by a country mile because no matter where in the country I can walk into one and get 25 things on autopilot in 5 mins because they have 2 designs. small liberal state city cuck stores and airplane hangars and within the large ones they're all laid out in one of two ways which are barely any different from each other. a Walmart in post falls Idaho is exactly the same in new castle indiana. frick all your goofy regional stores
Fresh Market through CornerShop.
>Frick the haters
UGO
I like growing my own vegetables. I want to start growing meat chickens but I don't know where to plant them.
>meat chickens
As opposed to egg chickens, duh
>meat chickens.

Wegman's but I moved away from their market recently.

if whole foods had the prices of trader joes, they'd be the best grocery store hands down
For me, it's the farmer's market. No, I don't care it's not a 'grocery store'.
Most of my meat comes from harvesting animals. Freezers thicc with all kinds of large and small game. Everything else I get at Walmart. It's all the same shit typically. People are brand obsessed.
