also I worked there (admittedly like 20 years ago) and we sold small patty sandwiches like the double cheeseburger/mcdouble and big mac (same patty) like 100:1 compared to anything with the big patties

A regular quarter pounder with cheese is enough. The double is too much at once in terms of the meat to bun and topping ratio. If I wanted more, I'll order sides or another burger.
The Big Mac has the flavour factor from the sauce, and I like the middle bun. The lettuce is a nice compliment, but also the biggest issue. There's too much of it, and you lose a bunch. The crunch it adds is essential. I give them both a big thumbs up!
When I was 9 I would eat 3 big macs with no toppings and just a whole bunch of ketchup on each burger.
I would eat it so fast that I would swallow too much air and get chest pains.
I literally quit all fast food a year ago because of the bullshit price gouging. Places like mcd or Taco Bell had the gall to sell their bottom-tier, chemical -tasting, artificial slop at fast casual pricing. And now? They're feeling the pinch from a ton of people swearing it off in lieu of cooking and here they come with their shill campaigns and online banner ads (which I have literally never seen McDonalds use before, meaning they're really trying to pull people back in). But you just know that once they pull people back in, it's back to the same old manipulation and bilking people who can't afford it. Frick em

Last time I had one was a few years ago, and I shit my brains out. Can't recall the last time I had a big mac, not a fan of all the bread and thought it was a rip off when I could buy 10 cheese burgers and a small frys for $5 back in the day. If I want a burger now I just make it myself and actually enjoy it.
Big macs are gross, the middle bun gets soggy and disgusting.
