First of all, people eat chili cheese dogs here, but that's only because they're delicious, they aren't from Chicago, and that certainly isn't a Chicago hotdog. Second, Chicago is not a burger town; in total there are more hotdog stands/restaurants than there are burger joints, and most people would rather get an Italian beef over a burger. The coleslaw is probably the closest; but that's only because of the German history of Chicago, and even then American coleslaw is based off the Dutch variant, not German slaw.
