I'm staying in Dallas for work and figured I'd go to some Mexican food place right next to the hotel. This place is called Chuy's and it is the absolute whitest Mexican food place I have ever been to. Not a single Mexican FOH staff, instead it was all white kids aged 15-25 and the girls weren't even hot. I asked for fresh diced jalapenos on my tacos and they said they only have them pickled. When the tacos came out the onions were in some weird condition where they weren't cooked, weren't raw, but like brined? I got a steak burrito to go and it was extremely lame, hardly anything inside, it was mostly just tortilla. No Mexican music was playing, the decor was like something you'd see in a children's museum. It was absolutely terrible on every front.
Tex-Mex can go to hell.
