Real happy for you, bro. It's just great that we can both live our lives how we want, regardless of how different are outlooks are. Have a great one, my friend.

You should be thinking about nutrition though. Not saying it to be a jerk. I'm vegetarian and felt a lot better after adding in some supplements. Iron, vitamin A, and omega 3 in particular. It's unfortunate but true that you're likely to be lacking some things if you don't eat meat/organs/fish.

I was vegetarian for a long time before trying supplements and seeing how much better I felt after taking them. It's pretty common for vegans and vegetarians to not have optimal amounts of some things due to lower bioavailability of plants. I don't think there's anything wrong with recognizing that.

Let me look into my crystal ball:
you ate a shit diet as a vegetarian, you probably still eat a shit diet

No, my diet was pretty good. Lots of beans, whole grains, nuts, vegetables. I cooked all of my meals from scratch.

            >due to lower bioavailability of plants
            lmao what, listen to yourself

That's a fact. Beta carotene needs to be converted to vitamin A, and ALA into EPA/DHA for omega 3. Those things aren't converted efficiently and some people have genes that make it hard for them to convert it at all. Non-heme iron in plants isn't absorbed as well as heme iron from animal products.

You should know these things if you're a vegan. It doesn't mean you have to stop being vegan. It means you should just be aware that supplements could help as people who limit or avoid animal products are more likely to experience deficiencies.

You can get vegan supplements that are pretty good these days. Retinyl palmitate is better than beta carotene. Iron bisglycinate with vitamin C is absorbed about as well as heme iron. You can get bioavailable omega 3 supplements made from algae which is just as good as fish oil. Methylated B vitamins are absorbed pretty well. I think enough people learned that vitamin supplements were mostly just peed out so making more bioavailable supplements is becoming more important as there's a growing market for that.

What's the point? We're all full of micro plastics. Preservation is impossible in ten years we're all going to be forced to kelp, corn protein, mycoslurry, and sewage plant base? You're not winning a morality contest. Why not just enjoy and let people enjoy what we have while we still have it.

Is it vegan/gay to eat oatmeal with breakfast?
I undeniably like eating it like it was a sort of "breakfast dessert" after eating eggs and bacon or sausage

yes it's gay to eat something that a large percent of people also eat for breakfast
